Are they still doing the Mad Tea Party themed thing for wishes viewing? I think it was just on Wednesdays. Curious about how that's shaping up and what guests of the resort think about it.

I'm curious about that too. One of mine loves the Mad Hatter and she would think to be quite fun

I believe it was supposed to not go past Labor Day. If so, today would have been the first Wednesday it didn't happen. But have not seen confirmation of that yet.

Correct.

Once the word got out, crowded.

Hi everyone, after 15 days at the GF we are now home, we had an amazing time and I can't wait to start planning for next year!
What were things you liked? I enjoyed coming back late and having the towels replenished :)

Dh and I are headed to the GF tomorrow for a weekend anniversary trip. Can't wait we stayed there once before about 6 yrs ago and loved it. We splurged on a theme park view room since it's our 20th anniversary
Happy Anniversary! Have a great time!

Called and reserved a Cabana at the GF pool for our next to last day! I didn't go through the CL people because I had to call them to give them a CC# and details. Since I book all of our other stuff on my own, that seemed like a waste of time so I called the WDWPlay line myself.

Well done! I hope you have a fine, relaxing day with your cabana!

I loved our cabana day at the pool it was so relaxing! Turn down service was another fun perk, coming back from a long day with the beds ready to jump into and a curtains drawn, etc. was really a luxury and I collected tons of chocolates (two on each bed, four beds (2 had two rooms) equaled more chocolates than we could eat!). And I also enjoyed sitting in the lobby some nights, really pretty and even though the resort was busy it wasn't a chaotic lobby experience at all, we visited the BC (which I do love but it's a totally different vibe over there) for dinner one night and the lobby was so full and bustling when we got back to the GF that night it was like a breath of fresh air!

Checked into RPC King deluxe room this morning. First time back since rooms were redone. Love the new look! So pretty & elegant! Have a nice view of the castle although we are on the second floor again. If we ever stay here again, think I'd book a standard or just theme park view so we're closer to the lounge.

We took a town car from the airport. I did not do online check in. It was pretty chaotic when we were dropped off. We're used to bell men being right there to help with luggage but that didn't happen. We had to go to bell desk & ask for luggage to be taken to storage. No one outside to greet us. But as soon as we walked into the building, there was a man in a suit & 2 women with iPads. The man immediately greeted us & asked our name. He introduced himself as a guest experience manager (don't remember his name but is that a new position?) & introduced one of the women who was waiting to check us in. So I think they were notified by the guard house & were expecting us. The woman had our packet in hand, escorted us to the lounge & completed our check in there. Only thing missing is a list of the lounge offering times. Might have to ask about the times for snacks & tea tomorrow.

Went to lunch at Gasparillas & got our room ready text as we waited for our food. We split a pizza & the special of the day: a steak sandwich with home made chips. Pizza was good but that sandwich was very yummy!! And of course... those chips! :goodvibes

Bed is very comfortable. AC is great, maybe a little too cold in the room, lol! Went to Epcot for awhile. Crowds not bad, monorails & buses not crowded at all. Didn't go down to beach yet, but the new rocks & fence look nice from the monorail.

Dinner was at Chefs of France. Very good meal! Loved the salad & the salmon with rice pilaf was very good too. Had intended to go to MK since it's open til 12. But since we've been up since 4 am, we decided to call it a night after dinner. Loving everyrhing so far!! :cool1:

Oh yea, the mint foot cream was in the room!

Thanks for posting a picture of the mint foot creme. It seems to be a big topic of conversation on this thread so I wondered what it looked like. ;)
