is the carving station sugar loaf and new wine
The prices are probably not that different. You can always call and see what's available. Those deluxe queens look amazing.Thank you SO much trishadono! I appreciate it. I was so confused, now it makes perfect sense as I did call to make the switch from CR to GF. After looking at those pictures, I think I definitely prefer the triangular room, as it looks like the other one has a connecting door. I also wonder if the room is the same price as the king, and if it's worth calling and seeing if they can switch the category.
That looks good. What are the differences in food offerings between rpc and SL?The prices are probably not that different. You can always call and see what's available. Those deluxe queens look amazing.
A friend of mine is there now and enjoying her RPC stay. Here are some food pix and the new wine cart.View attachment 104063View attachment 104065 View attachment 104066View attachment 104064View attachment 104069
Blueskies comes back tomorrow so hopefully she can answer. It used to be self serv but looks like not now. However, during the day it was always by request and that is still the same. It really shouldn't be a big deal. It is nice to have someone pour for youDo u help yourself to wine or is tacky like the yacht club what kind of wines i heard they added fess parker do they have the carving station at the sugar loaf.
They are the same its just that most CL's have recently been doing some changes. So far most have been good. The cheese tray shown above has items I usually get and LOVE from The Garden View Tea Room.
That looks new and yet we all remember that strawberry soup!
We loved VGF!! Hope you have agreat trip and I look forward to any pix!!We are here now at the VGF in unit 1504 which is a lake view studio. The view is awesome looking out at the Poly and wedding chapel . Looking forward to our return next year with a bunch of family in a 2 bedroom suite.I will post pics when we get back home.
In the past we have always done concierge in all our stays at Disney and have wanted to do it at the GF.But with that said, we love the Villas. It is so quiet and spectacular as well. And the main building is literally a 1 minute walk. We are very happy with our decision to buy in at the VGF.I love gf villas! Goofy, are you loving it? Or wish you were in the resort?
We did 1/2-1/5/14 and I loved that christmas music played on the speakers below our balcony. So sweet! In the past we have always done concierge in all our stays at Disney and have wanted to do it at the GF.But with that said, we love the Villas. It is so quiet and spectacular as well. Thanks you very much!More info about the deluxe kings: The furniture placement is before the most recent rehab but basic floorplan is the same.
Basically, the GF has a category called "deluxe". All of these rooms are in the main building and there are two different sub categories that you can request.
#1A. King Deluxe room: there are 9 rooms located on the 2nd floor of the main building. They all come with king beds, whirlpool tubs, a small sitting area and a balcony that overlooks the castle. They are all the same size as a standard room. (room #4201-4209) (maximum occupancy is 3)
#1B. King Deluxe room: there are 6 rooms located on either end of floors 3, 4 and 5 of the main building. They all come with king beds, regular tubs, larger sitting area and turret style windows that offer a panoramic view of the resort. None of these rooms have a balcony, but they are much larger. (room #4321, 4421, 4021 & I think #4330, 4430, 4030) (maximum occupancy is 3) Here is the room layout for the King deluxe options:

We had the SAME thing when we were there in November... Every single morning. I wonder if it was the same lady!Just as we left this morning, a barefoot "guest" in her bathrobe secured her breakfast at the Royal Palm Club. Clueless.
All the best.![]()

I'm so sorry but yep there are nuts in all the breads too!!I am ready to freak out. Do you mean to tell me that those are nuts scattered about the plate? DD and I are nut allergic. Let's be realistic and acknowledge that nut allergies are very common nowadays. So instead of just taking a moment to put the nuts right next to the platter in a bowl/ plate, they HEAPED THEM ONTO EVERYTHING? This would be the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen... except for that i already see that the wine is no longer self-serve, so the two issues are tied for first place in my book. They literally charge nearly $1,000 per night full price. They have GOT to be kidding me with these changes.
