CL CM Neil confirmed last Saturday that the 3rd floor deluxe rooms are not currently refurbished.

My family didn't know what was going on the first time I met Teena, I walked into the lobby and we gave each other big hugs!

I would love to see Teena have a clicker that counts the number of hug encounters she has with guests every day!

Thanks to everyone who posted about why the FP+ window sometimes opens at midnight and sometimes at 1 am (or later) based on when the latest WDW park closes that day (or the day before).

I won't need to get 150 FP all together, fortunately. Our group will be split in two and going to different parks. I am in the process of making 13 different groups/MDE accounts (first I have to set up 13 email addresses) and then add everybody to the right groups. So I will be making 13 sets of FP reservations for a total of 150 people. They won't all have to be at the same times.

We are not club level and I did not do online check in in case I didn't get a daybed, I wanted to try to work something out at the front right away. This was suggested by Natebenma...I had no need though because I lucked out right away!

Hello all! I've been avoiding the DIS as I had no trips planned and none on the horizon ... Until this week, when I agree to accompany my mom to the BC this October! We'll be there from the 8th to the 11th in a garden room; I've stayed at BW and YC in the past but never BC, so this is exciting! Plus during F&W!!! Can't wait to read all the info here and get even more geared up for our quick getaway!

So we are less than a week out, magic bands in hand. Still not sure which day we will arrive. We may change up the beginning or end of our trip but will be spending time at both Poly Villas and BC villas. It will be interesting to compare the two.

Never had a sunken treasure over the many times we have been to BCV. Not a huge fan of really sweet drinks but I think I may have to take one for the team and try it.

I did reach out to guest services about the change in the takeout menu at Beaches and Cream. We still have not connected-we have traded phone calls, but they clearly did their research first. They knew how frequently we visited. Curious to see exactly what they have to say.

Hi Friends ... Jeanne and I are back from our mother/daughter Disney Fantasy cruise. It was wonderful. She heads back home tomorrow and tomorrow I head back to the BC for work. Can't wait to visit with all the Disers there over Easter!!!! Jeanne just sent Dee a load of pics and I'm sure she will post a few later. Jeanne looks and acts totally rested. She also ran (not once did she break to a walk) the 5K on Castaway Cay and then didn't want to wait for the tram to the adult beach so ran to it ... turned into her running a 6K. So proud of her!!

Welcome back!!!! See you in a couple weeks!

Okay, I'm looking out the window at the freaking snow that is currently falling at an alarmingly rapid pace and the only thing that comforts me is that in a little over two weeks, I'll be hanging out poolside with a very fruity and probably very alcoholic drink. Are there palm trees? Tell me there are palm trees....

I just want to point out to some of our new future Beach and Yacht Club guests that the Pool Chair Piggy Problem happens at every Disney resort during the crowded times. What's different about the Beach and Yacht clubs is that by reading this thread we are offering workable solutions. (finding a saved chair with JUST a resort towel on it, Not personal belongings and MOVING it to a new spot, thus avoiding confrontation if the chair piggy should return) That is about the best you are going to be able to do during this difficult, high demand, time of the year.

Now keep in mind that if I was at the pool right when it opened and I saw fully dressed people drop stuff on a chair and leave the pool area I would wait awhile and then turn their stuff in as "forgotten". It's just what I would do but I am ornery like that. That doesn't mean that you have to do that.

Soooo maybe you could stake out a good hiding spot and give these chair piggies one of your infamous noodle whacks on their way back into SAB.

We check in to the BCV after AKV(both studios) on the 22nd....anything specific I need to look out for? I'm hoping to be able to request a nice ground floor studio room when we check-in.

Glancing at previous posts since 1 April I only saw one hug . So the official "Teena Hug Tracker" is sitting at 1

We arrive June 6th...are you working that day, Teena? We are a family of 5 so that will give you at least 5 more...for each day of our trip we see you! LOL!!!

I only work Sundays and Mondays ... it's a retirement job so I keep it to two days a week in between cruising and visiting Jeanne and the Princess in Las Vegas LOL. I saw five Dis families on April 5th and 6th and got lots of hugs from them, and some from other long time guests not on Dis.
