Did you really say you were going to monorail resort "hop" on Easter???

Here is the listing of Easter activities at the Yacht & Beach Club LAST YEAR (2014)


Sunday, April 20- Easter Activities

8:30-10:15am Character meet and greet at BC lawn by volleyball courts

9am Easter Candy Scramble at BC lawn by volleyball court (arrive 5 minutes before start time)

Stormalong Bay: 11:00-11:30 Egg Scramble, 11:30-12:39 tie-dye tshirts, 12:30-1:00 Egg-citing Prize Walk 1:00-1:30 Egg on a spoon relay

Fantastic, this is exactly what I was hoping for but couldn't find the info. So happy we won't have to monorail resort "hop"!
We have a Cape May reservation for 9:40am, so if the schedule stays the same for this year we will have plenty of time to do the character meet at 8:30 and even the candy scramble at 9:00. Thank you, you guys are always the best for info!!

I was going to try to see Cinderella on Sunday, but my oldest daughter has some skating party in Hershey. She'll be all teenage angst if I go without her. Saturday is out, too, because Thing #2 is going to be at a friend's house all day. Probably too crowded, anyway. Weird that I can handle the crowds at Disney but I'm not willing to deal with one in a movie theater. Maybe it's because at Disney, I can find an alcoholic beverage to put me in my happy place. And there's always Captain Eo if I really need to find a quiet place.

I suspect the wedding will have a much happier ending than the last one filmed by Richard Madden.

Popping in to make some changes to my dates (Dee I am still blaming you lol). We are leaving Anna Maria Island to check in at BC on 8/13 instead of 8/14 Our BC dates will be 8/13-8/19 and unbeknownst to my kids (DH wants to surprise them).....we will be headed over to the dark side to stay at HRH CL from 8/19-8/22. So excited!!!!!!!

We are leaving Anna Maria Island to check in at BC on 8/13 instead of 8/14 Our BC dates will be 8/13-8/19 and unbeknownst to my kids (DH wants to surprise them).....we will be headed over to the dark side to stay at HRH CL from 8/19-8/22. So excited!!!!!!!

Your vacation actually is mirror opposite of mine. My family checks into the Cabins and then we have a week at home for doing the parks and then a week at Anna Maria Island. It will be our first time at the Island and hoping we made the right choice. We want a lovely beach with calm waters for Lily.

I am just bummed! I called to make a change to my Beach Club reservation and CM tells me that my reservation is for a handicapped accessible room/garden view. I did not request a handicapped accessible room when I first made my reservation. I'm concerned as the room type may keep me from be assigned to a room with a large balcony. This is the only room type available for my dates with a garden view. Has anyone had any experience with staying in an accessible room?

I would send an email to guest relations explaining that you did not reserve this room type and you want it changed. It looks like there is plenty of time for them to find you a regular garden view room.

The handicap accessible room will have a walk in, or roll in, shower but not a bathtub. They usually only have one sink in the bathroom. The room usually has a king size bed.

I am so excited yo be getting on a plane and arriving at the BC tomorrow!!! Last year I posted a bit every day so if you have questions just ask. So stoked but I am lying in bed knowing full well I am not going to get much sleep before that 445 wake up call!

We have friends who rent a house on Anna Maria for winter break every year and they love it! We're strongly considering it at some point, but my parents' place is so close that we always end up staying there. I'm guessing you will both have a great time!

It's our first visit there but it looks amazing! We usually do St Pete beach or Treasure Island and my family loves the gulf! We have seen Dolphins and manatees, the water is calm enough for Lily you'll have a great time! I prefer the parks first but we drive from NJ so it's easier to do the beach and drive north to Orlando

We have friends who rent a house on Anna Maria for winter break every year and they love it! We're strongly considering it at some point, but my parents' place is so close that we always end up staying there. I'm guessing you will both have a great time!

I have a friend who goes every winter so that's how I heard of it. It was between Anna Maria and siesta key but I found the resort in trip advisor and when I called I got that warm fuzzy happy vibe!! I can't wait for vacation

If you like ice cream, we also enjoy taking the trolley (it's free) to the pier on the north end and getting some ice cream at Two Scoops. There are more benches across the street by the ocean that you can eat at if you want too.

We heard about the trolley and hope there is a stop near our condo. Ice cream sounds perfect every night. I saw lots of restaurants too and hope we can utilize the trolley for them. Bob has a hard time walking far and the condo is right on the beach so I'm hoping it will be perfect for us.

We love the Gulf Coast. We've gone several times for a 2-3 day stay at St Pete Beach pre WDW trip. Nice and calm, and the sand is so white and fine, it's like powdered sugar. Love it!! We bring our pool noodles :-D
