Hi natebenma

We returned last weekend from another lovely YC CL stay where we were amazingly pixie dusted with an upgrade to the Presidential Suite! pixiedust:

Do you have any interest in pix for the thread or your files? I'd be happy to provide you with some if you think you would. :goodvibes

We loved everything about YC CL! The CM's there are just so special. My kids have really gotten close to several of them. ::yes::

Heck, yeah! I would LOVE photos!!!

You can either email to me at beachclubdee@yahoo.com or if you would like to add them directly to the Deluxe Room/Suite thread, here is the link (if you post them here, I can move them to the Presidential Suite post).

Yacht Club Deluxe, Suites, VP and Presidential Rooms

Congrats on the amazing upgrade!!! You must have been thrilled!

Thanks so much for sharing your amazing luck with us.

Still
How is Bob doing?

How are you?

Bob's wrist is fractured and sprained. He's wearing a removable cast and feels better today.
My fever broke last night. Still feel weak but so much better. Must have been the 24 hour flu.

We'd love to be added to the list! Our dates are August 14-21. So excited!

Well...and there you have it!!! Seeing you are from the same area as Mousemommy AND you tried it, I'll take your word for it!!!

NM: IF I have room AFTER my chocolate/caramel covered pineapple spear, AND my dark chocolate sea salt covered caramel AND my pretzel I'll see about getting some of the caramel popcorn crack!!!

We are going to have to roll you out of there by the time you are finished! For a large bag of the Karmel Corn I'll help push you back to the resort!! :rotfl:

 help
I'd really appreciate opinions here from all you kind folk. We're doing a split stay YC SV CL and BW SV CL. The problem is the YC portion of our stay. We chose YC over BC because of the balcony situation and at first booked a GV non-CL room. Then after much discussion we decided that CL really works for our family so we upgraded to CL but there were no GV rooms available and we can't swing water view. Okay, all is good but....:stir:
Just this morning as I was reading this lovely thread I took note that all the BC GV CL rooms have full balconies. If they also have daybeds then should I switch to BC GV CL? Is there a difference between CL at the YC and BC? Does anyone recommend one over the other? I'm partial to a room with a view because I spend a good amount of time in the early morning hours on the balcony with some coffee and a good book waiting for the rest of the family to enter consciousness.
Any insight would be so appreciated.:worship:
Oh and I hit double digits on the countdown this past weekend :banana::banana::banana::banana:

Ok. I haven't had a chance to read through all of this thread but we are staying in BCV in a little over a week. Enjoying the posts, trying to find any good snippets for planning purposes. It will be my DH and myself, celebrating a belated honeymoon. 9 days. I. Can't. Wait!!! Questions: what is the BOG list? We are staying in a studio. What kind of view should I expect? Or rather should I request? Are there different options for the studios? Also, what is all this talk about secret entrances to Epcot??? Are there only certain places you can access? Thanks in advance for the info!!

Oh, dear! When it rains it pours. Sending hugs and feel better wishes!

You've got a deal!!! DH and I have been on a very restrictive eating plan for 4 months so I'm sure my eyes will be WAY bigger than my belly.....but being a good trooper I'm gonna try a bit of it all :)

Want a beer to wash it down ? I "hear" they sell that in Germany too ;)

Yes, all of the BC CL GV rooms have full balconies, BUT only 1 has a daybed. You can't even book a room in this category if you are a family of 5. I think the situation is the same at YC.

If there are 5 people on your reservation, you wouldn't be able to switch over to GV (at club level) at either resort.

I am the same way about a balcony- I am up very early every morning and I enjoy having a place to go with my coffee and a book, but the view really hasn't been important to me.

The Be Our Guest list is just a listing of people staying at the resort. Gives you an opportunity to see who will be at the resort at the same time as you.

Post 15: Be Our Guest list

All the resorts have access to the International Gateway entrance of EPCOT. The secret exit is just the closest exit from the Beach Club to pathway to the International Gateway. From this exit, it takes people just a couple of minutes to walk to the International Gateway.

Here is the post about the Secret Entrance/Exit from Page 1 of this thread:

Step-Saving Super Secret Entrance to the Beach Club

There is a side entrance/exit to the Beach Club which takes you mere steps, probably 3 minutes, from the International Gateway Entrance. It is near room 1501.

This was really handy for us a couple of times this summer when it was wicked hot and when it had just started pouring.

You have to go through a lot of hallways to find it, so the best way to do this is to follow the signs to room 1501 from the lobby.

Here are photos of the exit door near room 1501, the pathway and the gate to the "secret entrance"

Just wanted to send a big thank you to everyone who's providing info, such a huge help. 180 days from today for us!!!

Not yet, system is down for upgrades, I'm almost pacing in my office waiting for it to come back online so I can make them!

And I hear that you can't even call and make them .....all systems are down.

So sorry this is happening to you on your 180 day.

If BC GV CL rooms don't have daybeds what is in the place of the daybed? Are the rooms a bit smaller? Hoping we will have a nice comfy chair in our room.
