Ok you guys are making me feel better. The end of August was not my first pick of travel time. I not one who deals well when I'm dripping wet from heat. Ya I know, ya I know Hahahahaha I better get use to the idea real quick!

What was making the idea better was thinking the lines would be shorter. So waiting in the heat wouldnt be too bad. we been at the end of may b4 the lines were insane and it was HOT.

I keep thinking about SAB and now I the sunken treasure after a long day at the park. I can do this!

We always go the last 2 weeks of August. IMO, it's not that bad, love the lower crowds & lower costs. We go to the park at rope drop, then come back for mid afternoon swim break when it's the hottest out. Lounge around the pool, with a Sunken Treasure . Then later go out for dinner and maybe an evening park.

I wear light clothing, loose light coloured tops, and sandals with arch support. Just found a pair of Reefs at Costci

I was checking out the BOG list. There is a lot of ppl traveling the last week in August. For the life of me I can't remember what site has the crowd levels.

I thought the end of August / beginning if September the crowd level were lower because if school being in session. Am I wrong?

Easy Disney has a free Crowd Calendar that's pretty good.

Us too!! We arrive on the 9th! So excited to be going. We've stayed at BCV twice, but decided to make our way across the hall this time!

The one thing I like to budget for is the occasional cab ride. Particularly between resorts. Just beware if you are trying to take a cab from the Swan/Dolphin. They have town cars, not the standard Mears at any of the Disney owned resorts.

And as a regular at POFQ, if you are going to use the boat to DTD resort option, I prefer POFQ. Its always first in the bus loop. And the bus to Epcot from there is very short.

Hello all! After many schedule changes , it looks like we will be at YC May 29-June 1! We will then go to BWI 6/1-6/3 (YC discount not available whole stay. Do you know if we will be able to go to SAB on 6/1, and if so, what do you need to show to get in? TIA!

I believe you can still use the pool on your checkout day. Just show your room key. It will have June 1st printed on it.

A question about getting back to Beach Club from DTD. If you boat to POFQ from DTD, then bus to Epcot, is the bus stop at the front entrance of Epcot? So would this require park hopper tickets to walk through Epcot to get to the Beach Club?

The other suggestion to boat from DTD to PO, then bus to HS, then boat to BC, would you need park hoppers at HS to catch the boat to BC?

We don't have park hoppers and I'm trying to find the easiest way to get back to the BC from DTD. Thanks!

In my opinion I think those options would take way, way more time. Plus I don't think that boat to POR/POFQ runs at night. I'm not sure what time you are planning to leave there. But I would just get on the BC bus. You can catch it at the Marketplace or over by Planet Hollywood. Sit down and relax and play Angry Birds or something. Much better than trying to hop on all those forms of transportation. I really never noticed the bus ride being that big of a deal.
