Thank you!
I didn't know there was one but I can sure try. I think they close at 10pm for live phones so I missed it by a bit...was showering. We are moving so things are crazy around here!

I used the 407-WDW-MAGIC number. Good luck!

Thank you for the balcony answers! when we go next year DS will be a few months shy of 3. Right now he is a climber which is what worries me. I initially thought a first floor room would be nice but then started to worry about him possibly wandering off if he figured out the door on his own, or on higher floors climbing on the balcony! I doubt this would happen but it's just in the back of my mine. I'm sure we could bring a child proof lock of some sort too.

It will depend on the exact one in the room, but my kids never complained about sleeping on the sofa bed together when we stayed.

We stayed in the villas in 2009 & 2010 when they were 9 & 7 and 10 & 8, boy and girl. Luckily, they are actually very good friends to one another and like one another most of the time. They always found enough of their own space so no complaints.

My kids shared the sofa bed without an issue. (They were 6 and 4 at the time so a bit younger.)
I also slept on a sofa bed in a BCV studio and found it surprisingly comfortable. I was only there for 4 nights but I ran the ToT 10 mile race during that time so I'm sure I would have felt everything little lump if the bed weren't comfortable! :lmao:

Amanda

We just stayed in a 2 bedroom in October and the sofa bed in our room was great for our 2 boys. Only 5 and 7, but 50 & 60 pounds - for comparisons sake. They never complained.

Thanks so much for the replies--I will let my friend know. Her kids are on the small side, so they should be good to go!

Chicago was hit so hard this year! I have an aunt that lives in Downers Grove. Are you near there?

So many Ohio disneys lovers! That's awesome:cool1:! Do you guys drive or fly to Disney? My husband likes to drive.

I'm ready for winter to end! We had snow today too & local schools closed, I didn't think it was that bad, but I ready for spring.

We are in Orland Park....Downers Grove isn't too far....15-20 miles away. I am sick of the temps being below 40 degrees.....can't wait to break out my flip flops and work on my feet getting tanned since my feet, nose and shoulders are really the only parts of my body that tan. :-)

113 days until BC, and SAB and a Kitchen Sink and a Sunken Treasure and the list goes on........

Downers Grove here! I'm on the south end. We've had a few flurries here and done with winter!

Hello Neighbor! it's a small world after all! :)

My BC friends will appreciate this. I'm going to apologize because its off-topic....

I'm talking with a lady at the beauty shop (I'm really dating myself here and sound like my 80 year old mother!) and she mentions they are going to WDW on Thursday. No research and it's their first time going. She is not excited at all. I felt so bad for her because while she has no expectations (in fact, she even said that they are going because it's on her husband's bucket list), I just know they are going to hate it. It is going to be so crowded! They are doing the DDP and she just made her ADR's on Monday. They are eating at some of the least popular restaurants.....LTT, Les Chefs de France, Hollywood and Vine, etc. since that was all that was available. Their tour book is the Birnbaum Guide.

I feel sad for them because what should be a magical trip, the lack of planning and going one of the busiest weeks of the year will most likely turn this family into a bunch of WDW haters.

Where are they staying?

I was at a restaurant in December and the two couples at the table behind us were talking (loudly) about their recent trip to Disney "We ate at the steak place in France (sic) and we had to make reservations 2 months in advance!" My family gave me the stink-eye that said "Don't you dare get involved"

We always fly. 2 hours in the air and we are in sunny Florida! Can't beat that!

From Ohio as well. Would like to know how to change screen name so I feel a little less "out there".

Honestly, with only 2 posts, I would close the account and open a new one. There's probably a way to change it, but my way is fast and easy.

Welcome to both the Disboards and the thread!

Yes, howdy from me, too- I'll come through later today and give you and a few others a formal :welcome: a bit later today.

As far as your screen name- I'm not sure there is a way to change it. A few of us regret our choices of screen name when we first joined.

You can set up a new account with a new name. I'm not sure if you need to use a different email address to do that or if you can have multiple users (family members) on the same account. (ETA: I agree with AliceIn- close the original account and start fresh)

Please help!
Where can I go on the website to make my final payment? I can't find it anywhere and today is the day!

It's odd I had trouble with the option popping up the other day, but then it did. My Disney Experience, My Reservations, click on your resort reservation and it should show you how much is left next to the little resort icon and then a "Make A Payment" in blue you can click on.

Yes, that's exactly what it is! The Be Our Guest list is Post 15 on the first page of this thread.

:welcome:

I have added you to the list. Which resort?

:woohoo:

Thanks!

Hahahaha. This trip will be at the Yacht. We've been there a few trips ago....I want to say this past July. We loved the location!

We also booked another trip for July(at least airfare is covered), but haven't decided where to saty for that trip just yet.

They are staying at POR. I gave her all of my Disney secrets but I really don't think she is going to heed any of my advice. She asked me if I am one of those crazy people who books their meals 4 months out, to which I said, " I book mine at 180 days out so we can eat where we want". There's only so much Disney hating I can take. She thinks I'm nuts and I think she's nuts, so we are even!

Her and her husband are bringing her three kids....boys ages 14, 11 and 10. I hope at least THEY have a good time. But she said the 14 year-old doesn't even want to go...he wants to stay home with his aunt. They are such Disney Downers......

If you book a package & need to cancel more that 45 days out & you have only put the $200 down do you get it back eventually? Or is it lost all together? Or if you'd paid for package in full & cancel more than 45 days out do you get all of your money back Even without travel ins?
Thanks:)
