Just in case some of you have missed the news... Today is "Talk Like a Pirate Day"

I did online check in for the yacht club. We check in on Oct 26th. My question is it did not give us an option for a king size bed. How do I go about requesting one?

Just call and add it to your reservations. There are so few king beds ... that's probably why it doesn't show up on the online checkin.

got our magic bands today for our first-ever YC/BC stay! We'll be at YC Oct 18-20 - just a short stay, but we're excited to try stormalong bay and walking to epcot!

I got the blue band and it's pretty bright - I'm not sure I love it. We're staying at AKL after and I ordered the pink one for there - maybe it will be a little less neon. If not, I'll just have to cover them both with accessories.

Hi YC & BC friends! Dee I have a slight change to my October WDW vacation. We are staying the first night at YC and the next 6 at the Swan. I got a pin code in the mail. Darn I should have booked YC/BC at the rack rate (when standard and garden rooms were available!), then I could have tried to apply the discount!?! Anyway all is good and I will be in the Epcot area with at least a short YC stay. I was surprised when the CM told me that I would get the magic bands (have done everything but set FP+). I am terrible with change and don't know how I feel about planning rides, but I guess I will try it!

I'm really enjoying everyone's live reports, planning and trip reports! Can't wait for F&W and MNSSHP and Keys to the Kingdom tour!!

Big news, big news!

My boss asked me about going to a conference next month in Orlando. Guess what! I am currently booked at the Animal Kingdom Lodge for 10/6 through 10/10. I'm not letting myself get too excited until he approves the conference fee. I can't believe I may be going back so soon!

Dee - we had a slight change we are now arriving 10/30... we added a day. We are now also staying LGV because we could not get a discounted GV so it was cheaper to do the AP lagoon view

Buzzy the Fly, your lobby spy wants you to know that the lobby was busy tonight with a lot of Beach Club groupies hanging around!!!

That restraining order that the management has taken out against Buzzy hasn't taken effect yet so I got to sneak in with Nannette and wait in the lobby until Teena Poppins popped in for dinner with that mom who plays hockey. It was funny because Hockey Mom was not wearing her jersey or lugging her hockey stick so she must be in stealth mode this trip!

I ditched Nannette and headed towards the buffet at Cape May because I have yet to meet a crab leg that I didn't like. Since I am the official Beach Club Bon Vivant I only thought it fair that Nannette share and let me table hop some place else so that her and Mr. Nannette could lose their third wheel. When I finally made it back to the room there was a DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door with a note that said "Buzzy the fly! This means You!!!1!11!!

Let's just sat the SNORING coming from that end of the resort is hearing protection worthy!

See you on Sunday! I'm fighting some kind of bug ... swollen glands and ear ache and jaw is killing me. Hurts to talk. Doctor just put me on antibiotics ... hopefully they will kick in and I'll be able to work Sunday and Monday without difficulty talking. Can you imagine me not able to talk????

We will be at BC 10/13-10/20. Can't wait! It will be myself, DH and our 2 DS (5.5 & 3). Received our Magic Bands on Monday! And that really made myself and DH excited! We are not telling our DS anything!

I work Sundays and Mondays only so I'll be there 10/7 and 10/13.
