2012 Epcot Food and Wine Festival *HAS ENDED*

Disney must be working on these pages. Sometimes I get 2011, most of the time 2012. Progress, though!

It was updated sometime this morning.

So, anyone know how the wine presenters schedule? When they have tastings during the week, do they pour at PFTS the following weekend? Heitz has tastings on the Monday and Tuesday of the week we arrive. It's tempting to go to the Party if they will have a booth the following Saturday! But it seems more likely they will be there the weekend before. Looks like Grgich Hills will be there that night too. Good party for Cabernet lovers!

Hmmm, must be something with my computer, when I open from my Iphone it's correct, sorry must just be me :confused3

How long do wine tastings last? And anyone have feedback on Heitz Wine Cellars? I see someone above would be willing to pay for PFTS if they are there. I assume it means they are outstanding?

Silly question, I'm sure but under cullinary demos, when it says "Savory", what does that mean? Pastries?

Savory is not sweet. Last year I went to a chocolate demo that included "savory" and it was chocolate covered steak.

Do you think I will be out of luck having to wait until Tuesday to get tickets for the November seminars? I really wish we were DVC, or I had a reason to be an AP holder! :(

There will be plenty of availability on Tuesday, Aug. 14 for most seminars and demos.

The only exception might be some well-known, TV celebrity presenters. Even then, Disney is likely to hold back some inventory for Tuesday.

In addition, some inventory for all seminars and demos is held back for sale at the Festival Center on the day of the event.

I was wondering this as well. I'll be booking PFTS for 10/6, hopefully there will be some of the reserved seating spots open still.

There's no advance booking for PFTS. Nobody can book that until the 14th.

Not just you. Same thing happens to me. I open it on my computer and it's 2011, open it on my phone and it's 2012. IDK why it would be that way since it's the same link. Technology :confused3

Apparently, the file name did not change from 2011 to 2012. If your browser thinks it already has the file, it may not fetch a new one from the server. Try clearing your browser's cache. (Be careful only to clear the cache, not to reset browser cookies and other saved data in your browser.)

It's also possible you are fetching a "new" file, but the 2011 file is cached somewhere along the way, such as on an intermediate Akamai server or other caching server in your ISP's network path. Forcing a reload of the file from your browser or PDF viewer should work, but it doesn't always.

Disney should have given the 2012 file a new name.

If you are seeing last year's page, press and hold the Control key and press F5. This works on many browsers to fetch the latest version of the page from the server rather than displaying cached information.

Since the canadian booth is going to have the cheddar cheese soup and filet is there a reason to keep a lunch reservation if thats what I was planning on getting anyway? :confused3
