Thanks again, Teena. So glad people here are aware of the situation and can plan accordingly. You are an incredible person, willing to bridge the gap between the resort and this group with a positive attitude and a can-do spirit.
To those who are directly impacted, hugs to you. I'm very much hoping for the best vacation for each of you. My heart actually hurts for those of you who are so upset. We spend a lot of money to make these trips special, and it is frustrating when circumstances beyond our control send us skating sideways. Big hugs.

Thank you so much - that is very nice of you!
We'll be sure to bring extra cheer!

I am so sorry to hear the extent of the pool closure. I feel so bad for all of you. This is not just a slide closure. We stay at YC every year & the area that will be closed is what I think of when you say "Storm Along Bay". There is no way the small 3 -4 foot deep section connected to the lazy river can accommodate many people. That area is very small. So basically anyone who tries to use Storm Along will be in the lazy river or the kiddie area.
! We just switch our reservation to the GF. It was not an easy decision by any means as we were so very much looking forward to our stay at the BC
- but I think it's best for us to save BC for another trip.
! We didn't realize there was a whole other pool with a slide and all. Of course it doesn't have the fun features of SAB but the setting is beautiful and it is pretty large. The pool at Poly isn't as big and we were there in warm weather and did at times find it crowded.
