Hello,
I have no idea, where to post this. If you have an good advice to place this in DISboards, please let me know.
We, DD (4ys), DW an me, will fly over from Germany to visit Orlando in October. We are theme park enthusiasts and looking for someone or a family, who would like to tour the theme parks in Orlando and Tampa with us.
Probably
you have already booked and planned an Orlando-trip in October. Because of your little DD/DS you are also interested in touring the parks with another family.
Or
you are a budget traveler and could be interested in the following:
We offer
-staying in a vacation home with an own room and own bathroom
-free transportation in Orlando with our rental car
-we would pay the half bill (50%) of your entrance tickets
We expect:
-you have to LOVE theme parks
-touring with us the parks and taking care for DD a few times: DW and I like to ride some adult rides together; after that we can take turns with parent swap, or the other way around
-be a babysitter for one or two evenings: DW and I would like to have an evening out on our own; instead asking the Orlando babysitters e.g. Kids Night Out we would like to have somebody we know (better) than a never-seen-before-babysitter
-you have to pay the other half of the entrance tickets by your own
-you have to pay the transportation to and from MCO (Orlando Airport) by your own (or IAD, see below)
Drawback: we are not native speakers; you HAVE to be very patient with us.
Our schedule could sound a little bit insane:
We will fly from Germany to Washington on September, 30th (flight is booked).
We plan to visit Kings Dominion on Oct. 1st and Busch Gardens Williamsburg on Oct. 2nd.
We plan to fly from Virginia to MCO on Oct. 3rd.
A rough planning displays 6-7 Disney visits, three Universal, two Busch Gardens Tampa and one SeaWorld visit. When to visit which park has to be negotiated, but we expect a lot of fun. Our daughter is also theme park and Florida-proofed, thus I do not expect any serious issues, just fun.
If you are interested in accompanying us in Virginia and/or Florida, drop us a note. Before we make up our minds, we should phone or Skype.
I am looking forward to reading your feedback.
