Day 24 – Nassau – Aqua Duck - Senor Frogs – Enchanted Garden

TODAYS VIDEOS – Disney Dream Tour **** Riding the AquaDuck

Not many words again today, so I hope that the photos and videos will do the talking!

An early rise this morning at around 5:00 so I decided to take some photos and video around the ship. Apart from the odd cast member, I had the ship to myself as can be seen from the photos.

I managed to visit most of the bars and restaurants including Remy, Palo and various other places that I cannot remember the names of.

I returned back to the cabin at around 7:30 am by which time Sue and Emma were just waking up. We decided to have breakfast in Cabanas, and were amazed at the selection available.

The ship docked into Nassau at around 9:30 am and having experienced this place before, we were on no rush to leave for the shore. After breakfast we spent a while in and around the pool and also managed to ride Aqua Duck a few times, taking some video on the way.

During the day, the crew performed a full launch of No.1 lifeboat, which was situated directly below our balcony. This lasted for quite a while and we saw them maneuvering along side the ship. We returned back to our cabin to shower and change before returning back to Cabanas for some lunch.

The ship was fairly quiet so we decided to have a wander around the dockside.

We visited the Hard Rock to purchase a few t-shirts and then carried on to Senor Frog. Wayne was already inside and we were soon joined by Martin. This turned out to be a lively afternoon with plenty of fun and games together with a wide variety of cocktails.

We returned back to the ship around 4:00 pm to prepare for formal night. Outside below the balcony, it appeared that the crew had encountered a problem whilst trying to winch the lifeboat back into position. More and more senior crew was gathering, looking puzzled over electrical drawings, and eventually a new winch motor arrived on a trolley. This was quickly exchanged with the faulty one and we managed to leave port on time.

Dining this evening was in Enchanted Garden, which again was themed quite nicely.

Tonight’s show in the theatre was called VILLAINS, which I feel was directed at an American audience and so felt it difficult to follow the storyline. Not one I would rush to see again in the future.

On leaving the theatre since we were ‘all dressed up’ we decided to have a few family portraits taken by the Disney photographers.

We had a wander around the ship, seeing a few characters along the way.

After a browse around the gift shops, we went up to Deck 11 for drinks and then returned to our cabin. We sat on our balcony for a while, watching a lightening storm in the distance whilst we had a few glasses of wine before turning into our bunks.
