Day 18 Magic Kingdom DHS Hoop Dee Doo Revue
VIDEOS ** Big Thunder Mountain ** DHS Pixar Pals Parade ** Hoop Dee Doo **
Up bright and early today at 7:00 and just managed to catch a departing bus heading towards Magic Kingdom for EMH. We managed to see the opening ceremony and then made our way inside the park. Pinocchio appeared outside Tonys Town Square Restaurant and we managed to grab a quick photograph.
A little further up Main Street we met the Mayor and managed to catch up with the horse drawn carriage heading towards the castle.
The Dapper Dans were riding shotgun and serenading the guests on board.
We called in Main Street Bakery and purchased a few muffins for our breakfast on the move. Heading into Fantasyland, we grabbed some FPs for Peter Pans Flight and also had bonus FPs for Mickeys Philarmagic. Cinderellas Golden Carrousel was quiet and we managed to ride twice in succession.
Rope drop had just taken place in Frontierland as we made our way onto Splash Mountain. This was a walk on but as we exited the ride, the queue had built up quite quickly, so we headed around the corner and onto Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
Next up was our first visit this trip onto Pirates of the Caribbean, there was a small queue but this moved quite quickly and we were soon in the boat, on the lookout for Captain Jack. Our FPs were nearing their time, so on the way back we called into Haunted Mansion, which is one of our favourite rides. Peter Pan was the next ride followed by Mickey Philarmagic, making full use of our fast passes.
We had a wander over to the Fairytale Garden to meet Rapunzel, however the length of the queue and pace it was moving, made us think twice and so we continued over to Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor. On our way out of the park, we called into the Emporium, where Emma purchased a snap watch. The bus back to OKW was almost empty but driver kept us entertained all the way home. For lunch, we decided to visit Pop Century food court, collecting our mugs on the way.

The nachos were delicious and were further enhanced by a topping of jalapenos. Sue enjoyed the fish sandwich but thought it was a little too spicy.
On leaving Pop Century we made the short journey to DHS in order to catch our first glimpse of the new parade. We were a little disappointed with this, as it seemed extremely short. We returned back to OKW to shower and change in preparation for tonights ADR at the Hoop Dee Doo Revue.
