2011 Member Cruise

Any ideas on when they will open up the booking window for the DVC member cruise for 2011? I have the cruise dates marked, just wondering when we can book. TIA.

It's my guess that they will announce that on this years cruise. I'm looking forward to being on the Dream, I hope we can make the 2011 MC!

Book day will be announced either on the 2010 Member Cruise or shortly thereafter. We will have it announced here on the DIS, too.

Be sure to visit our Cruise Meet Board where DIS'ers will be setting up a thread for that 2011 cruise, if there is not one already.

Is there a thread that contains the points chart for the 2011 cruise? I'm a soon-to-be DVC'er and we're considering a 2011 cruise. I know it's not the best use of points but we're still gonna check it out.

The points and cash price for the Member Cruise are not the same as for other DCL cruises, so we have to wait for the announcement. The price either way will include gratuities and will be more than a regular 4 night cruise.

SS Member Cruise will sail September 18-22, 2011 on the Disney Dream.

There is another thread stating that DCL has suspended members booking cruises in points until after September 2011. I'm not sure if this will apply to the member cruise or not. It could make a big difference for this cruise if many are planning on using points.

I've been following that thread but don't think the "sold out for DVC points" will apply to this cruise since it's a special cruise chartered by DVC for members only. However, if the issue is that DVC is being stuck with too many rooms at the resorts to rent for cash due to so many members trading pts for DCL then who knows...
