1. I don't think so. I think the staff will try to help you out but I have never seen reserved tables and there is not a staff member to help you to the front of the food lines at the serving locations (and depending on the food/chef there can be long lines. Some of the visiting chefs are "celebreties" or just like to chat. I had a pastry guy from Food Network (Keegan) a few years ago who wanted to know my life story! ) You can take your wheelchair and/or scooter for "built in seating" but it may be a little more difficult to get around...

2. TIW and AP discounts for "deminars" only on Monday - Thursday. Everything else is "discount free"

Too bad we're missing Jonathan Benno, but i'm happy enough with those two. None of the wine seminars are too impressive. We'll see. I don't want to overbook. We want this to be a very low-key trip, not overly scheduled.

Disney's response for stamina and mobility issues is to rent a wheelchair or ECV, I would suspect that the answer would be the same for PFTS and other events for F&W.

I looked at the deminar list and I would like to see Kevin Dundon... but they don't say what he will be making. *sigh* I might swing by and see if there are any tickets left the day of. Oh well, I already get to eat at Raglan Road so...

I don't see anything worth paying for either. I'd much rather pay $150 for a Cat Cora dinner, than $10 for a bite at a deminar. Same for the wine tasting, while I enjoy MacMurray Ranch, I've been to enough wine dinners at DL with them not to waste my time. Maison Louis Jadot sounds interesting, but why pay the price for a bottle at the grocery store for only a few tastes?

I'll spend my limited time at the kiosks and special events.

Looks like a lot of repeat wineries and chefs from last year...we will be there from Oct 14-25 - if anyone has any recomendations they would be greatly appreciated (we did Irvine, Hearty boys and Chris Prosperi last year).

We are in the same boat

Very dear friends of ours who have been to ALL of the Disney Parks are joining us for their first ever Food and Wine (as well as stay at BWV).

They are originally from Brazil so even the Mixology course doesn't work for us ... trust me the Brazilian beverages they have introduced us to makes you go

We are hoping for two Signature Dining Events and a regional lunch or two

The brand Magicale is specific to Disney branding thanks to Michael Jordan. However Brachetto d'aquii is the varietal of sparkling wine from that region. You can find that sparkling wine at Bevmo for $28 per bottle and it tastes pretty much exactly the same. :
