We just booked a one night stay at the Beach Club. Its at the end of the stay. That way we can spend all day at the pool. The kids have no idea. Its the one deluxe my oldest once to stay at.

Us! BC 8/24-8/30...First time at BC and we can't wait, but shhhhh the kids don't know yet.

Teena- a couple of questions about Club Level-

Are there any YC Deluxe rooms, or only BC? Or are they considered shared rooms? How about the VP and Presidential Suites? They have fancy schmancy names, right?

Is the club level still open 24 hours for drinks and light snacks? Is this at both YC & BC?

To the people keeping the Guest Lists- if you are on the DIS this morning could you do an updated posting?

The YC has lots of different suites with fancy names and just plain suites without fancy names. The description and names of all the suites at the YC are found at http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/resorts/yacht-club-resort/rates-rooms/

The YC also has some deluxe rooms (two) ... they only have two queens in them apparently. One is on the third floor and one on the fourth floor. They are actually larger than the deluxe rooms at the BC.

The concierge lounges as of the other day when I worked are still open all night on a trial basis.

Maybe the answer is somewhere with this 240 page thread but..... what is the guest list for? My DH and I will be at BC for the first time in October and I dont want to miss anything.

I am so excited to be so close to Epcot!!! Most of our time is spent there anyway.

The birth of the "Guest Lists" is not in these 240 pages- it actually started in the previous thread. As many posters' summer trips were approaching, we kept track of who would be at the YC/BC, and when. This resulted in a short DIS meet in the Solarium one evening after Teena was finished with work. There were 6-7 posters who attended, and one "poster"- flat Dee at this festive event.

Perhaps some of you will "meet" for real in the halls of the resort, or at Stormalong Bay and you can say "I know YOU!"

I can't believe we'll be at the BC in just over a week! Thanks to everyone for providing such wonderful information. As I mentioned before, we don't want to spend too much time in the parks, but will still make use of being within walking distance to Epcot and HS. Our main objective is to really enjoy all that the resort has to offer. Here's what I want to be sure to do:
1) Stormalong Bay!
2) Movie on Beach
3) Enjoy our balcony (hoping and praying we get one!)
4) Beaches & Cream
5) Strolling along the Boardwalk and a night at Jellyrolls

Am I missing something (other than restaurants)? I think we've eaten at all of the restaurants at Beach/Yacht Club thanks to the dining plan. Any other hidden gem I should know about??

Teena is a part-time greeter at the Beach Club. For the past few weeks, she has been working on Sundays and Mondays, when the regular greeter has time off.

We are all so grateful that she takes her free time to answer so many questions, especially since she has such first hand, detailed information.

Hey Everyone!

I have gotten so tired of this winter that I booked a 4-day weekend at BC starting Friday (4th). I'm usually one of those overplanners that books everything 18 months early, so it's very unusual for me to book something ten days away.

We're actually seated separately on a couple of our connecting flights....a possibility I hadn't thought about before. Don't care....can't wait for warmer weather and Disney!

My family will be at BC from 6/17--6/25.
