They are benzonatate capsules and I'm swallowing them whole definitely.

Just FYI, benzonatate is the generic name for Tessalon Perles. I've never taken them but I dish out a fair amount. Hope you get to feeling better soon. If you ever have any questions about your meds, feel free to PM or e-mail me.

That's so sweet of you!!

I'm really bummed. I got really sick yesterday ... thought it was just a bad cold. Couldn't sleep at all last night. High fever, coughing and wheezing. So I had to call in and went to Centracare 8 AM this morning. I have acute brochitis. He said no work Monday either. I was so looking forwarding to meeting momof3cuteboys and cindydare and the others that are there now. Hopefully I'll be feeling better for my flight to Jeanne's on the 3rd. The doctor said I will have the cough for 3 weeks at least. He has me on z-pack and some crazy little gel pills ... prescription ... that about 30 minutes after taking it, stops my coughing totally for about 2-3 hours. It makes me really dizzy though. Bob says that's nothing new.

Teena so sorry to hear you are sick we hope you are well and up and going to your daughters soon!

Woohoo!, finally got caught up on this thread. It is so helpful!!! I am uber excited about our trip to BC in 3 weeks! I originally started reading this thread to get an idea of what room I wanted, but after reading the whole thing I decided it will be more fun to be surprised. It doesn't look like there is a terrible view anywhere, and I am not too concerned about having a full balcony. I did try to look into upgrading to Club level, but it is all booked for Oct 14-19. Does anyone know the likelihood of someone cancelling?

Sorry to hear you are not feeling well Teena. It's that time of year again...it seems like everyone is getting sick.

Just got back from our BC stay last night!!!
we had a wonderful time...
thanks to Teena, we did not do online check in! I also had no requests since I was just excited to be in Disney and staying at BC anywhere was fine!!!
when we got to front desk to check in!!! the CM ask me to hold and had to make a phone call!! i was worried thinking oh no what happened... but as I tried to listen in.. I realized we were being upgraded to CL!!
so funny since a few weeks ago I didn't even know club level existed!!!
I learned about it on this site.. so when I found out about it, since I was curious about the additonal charge i asked my travel agent about it, and she told me it was all booked up for our stay!!!! so you never know!!!
Kinda cool using our key to world card to get to our floor!! so I don't know about using the stairs we never checked it out!!!
CM staff was super helpful and friendly!!!
we did arrive on the day with all the Security Guards taken over the CL lobby area!!! I was told it wasnt anybody famous just really RICH!!!
the lounge was great!! it saved me buying Milk for my Oliver in the lobby store!! so that was great!!! loved the cookies too!! my boys loved the Fishies!!!
some days we used it more then others, it would all depend on what our agenda was...
only able to hit the Happy Hour our too last nights!! this was good since my hubby and dad were buying beers and wine which cost a pretty penny anywhere in the World!!! just wish it was longer hours or later!!! for when we got home from the parks!!!
Boys absolutely loved the pool, think they rather hang in the pool then the parks!!!
only hit the pool 3 different days, just not enough time in 1 week to do it all!!!
we also got a flat tire on our double stroller on Thursday while at AK and we had to go over to Mickeys BBQ with flat and 2 kiddies..
luckily CM were able to get the engineers at BC to fix it early Friday morning, they patched and I was so grateful!! really would have sucked if we couldnt get it fixed so I kept thanking the CMs!!
My boys also loved the chocolates on the bed!!!
I did love the club level, but i don't think I would pay for it! was a great treat but for our budget BC is alot of $$ already I would have to keep paying for standard room.....
wonderful trip, wonderful hotel with great staff!!
just sorry to leave, trip never seems long enough,
can't wait to go back...
thinking of joining DVC, if anyone has any positives or negatives, please let me know!!!
thanks!

It sounds like you had a great vacation!!!

Can you tell me if the lounge was open 24 hours? After reading what you posted, it sounded like the lounge closed in the early evening.

Teena- hopefully you will feel better by the weekend- I'm surprised that you aren't sick all the time, with the number of people that you meet and talk to.

Thank you so much!!! Those little things didn't work at all last night. Was up coughing all night long and now have a splitting headache that hurts even more when I cough (which is pretty non-stop). Nice to know we have you around to ask questions!

Teena - I'm right there with you. I have acute bronchitis that the Dr. was worried was heading towards pneumonia. I've been on the 5 pack, antibiotic and cough syrup with codeine. That's why I haven't posted much lately. I went to the Dr.'s on Thursday and am just starting to feel better. I know what you mean about the headache with the cough.

Hope your meds kick in soon and you feel much better. Have a great visit with Jeanne.

I miss BC soooo much!

I'm sorry you've got it too. It sure isn't fun! I don't know how you manage with kids at home too. Sounds like your doctor is treating you more aggressively than mine. Maybe tomorrow if I'm not feeling a tad better, I'll give the doctor a call. I'm so afraid I won't be up to flying out on Sunday!

Teena, I'm so sorry to hear you're sick! I am on day 14 of the same thing, but feeling a little better every day. It's knocked me for a loop!

I hope you're feeling better soon.

janloz - love the dining reviews!!! I think we need to fit Yachtsman in on an upcoming trip. We haven't actually ordered food at Hurricane Hanna's, but we keep saying how great the food looks as we refill our mugs. (We LOVE the new self-serve refill mug station there.) And while some regard it as a "pool bar," we think the menu looks just as substantial as a CS anywhere else at WDW. (Too bad this site doesn't list all the options, like allears does.)

Thanks for the compliment. HH was very good, I did get the new Mango Margarita at the bar which was excellent. I forgot to post too that Sunken Treasure was NOT on the bar list anymore. :confused3

Wow, I am surprised at your Cape May experience. We didn't eat at any signature restaurants in August (I guess you could say the exception would be Le Cellier since it's going signature next year) as it just gets too expensive with my family of 4. We absolutely loved this dinner buffet. We booked it for our arrival night which worked out great (and was so convenient). My kids don't eat seafood but enjoyed the other choices. The ribs were a family favorite! We sat to the left all the way past the buffet and liked this area too. The only thing I didn't like was the seasonal increase in price (which I think several restaurants charge).

We enjoyed the breakfast on our last day but I think almost $100 for family of 4 for breakfast is expensive. I know we are paying for the experience, but.. As far as dinner, again, it might have been an off night. DS loves ribs and ate one and said it was fatty and he didn't like them, he said the pork was very dried out and the beef had too much pepper on the rub. I did have the beef and I agreed with him. The mashed potatoes were cold. Our ADR was at opening since we were going to MNSSHP so not sure if the foods were sitting on the buffet for a while. Many of the items were close to being empty and were not refilled while we were there.

Teena: Hope you feel better soon.

I feel like a traitor to the thread but as you can see from my ticker, I will be staying BWV for our May trip. It is just my mom & I going for her bday trip so we decided to look into renting point from a friend and we could not get into BCV studio so we went with BWV since we are primarily going for the Flower Show and mom isn't into sitting by the pool. It was less then half the price to rent points then stay in regular room for the 5 nights. I will definitely walk over to BC to see Teena on Sunday & Monday plus we are planning to eat at YSH.

Holy cow ... that doesn't sound promising for me to fly to visit Jeanne on Sunday. What meds were you on?

The doctor told me mine was likely viral and just told me to continue Mucinex, Advil every 4 hours and Delsym before bed. It started slow for me, peaked at 7 days, and has been getting slowly better ever since. Hopefully your z-pack will knock it out for you! It's a killer bug, that's for sure!

I'm just glad to have it behind me before our BCV trip Oct 10.

Fingers crossed for your trip!!!!! I'm hopeful you'll be well on your way to better by then.

Although I absolutely love my job, the pin trading is what I'm afraid gets me the "bugs". I try to sanitize lots and lots but some of the young children will pull the backs off their pins with their mouth, spit the back out and hand it to me with the pin ... I just keep smiling and as soon as they leave, run and sanitize everything. It's hard though. I think I caught alot of stuff through pin trading!

I bet you're right! I had never thought of that! Not to mention the hundreds (thousands?) of people who walk by you every day and what they might be coughing into the air around you. Ugh!

Sorry to hear your sick Teena. I will be sending healthy wishes your way so you can go and see your daughter:goodvibes

We will be driving to the YC in Nov. So excited,:cool1: it's been a very tough year and this is a very big splurge. But my question - Could someone give me directions on how to get there? What exit and the best way to get there. We will be coming from the airport along the southern route, Hwy 417.

Thank you so much for any help.
