Just FYI I saw on twitter that Mickey not visiting tables at CM was temporary and he is back to going to tables. If anyone goes soon please confirm!

If you were leaving that early, it's likely that they simply had not yet gone out. When I checked out last Sunday, they were going around hanging them at about 7.

If you still want one, the simplest thing to do is to call the resort, ask for billing, and have them mail you a copy. It's no problem.

Thanks, that was same day we checked out. Left at 0630, so must have missed them. So much commotion up on CL, just didn't give it a thought. Just checked CC and amount looks reasonable. Will call for a copy, but no biggie at this point.

We check in to the Beach Club on November 7. I soooo can not wait! We are staying at the Poly first (DH's choice), and then a 3 day cruise (surprise for the kids). But I booked the Beach Club at the end for me!

I can give you a quick review from last week if you would like.


Cape May: Sorry Teena, this was our least favorite of the week. Granted we had eaten mostly signature and family was spoiled but we really didn't like the selection on the buffet, even the crab legs were cold. Some of the items like the meat and salads were good but it wasn't for us. The desserts were good but the same as we had on CL except the lava cake so kids weren't impressed. We were seated in the small room to the right when you walk in and I think that had alot to do with the feeling for the night. Might have been an off night, might consider it again but would rather eat at Yachtman or maybe try Capt. Grill.

Wow, I am surprised at your Cape May experience. We didn't eat at any signature restaurants in August (I guess you could say the exception would be Le Cellier since it's going signature next year) as it just gets too expensive with my family of 4. We absolutely loved this dinner buffet. We booked it for our arrival night which worked out great (and was so convenient). My kids don't eat seafood but enjoyed the other choices. The ribs were a family favorite! We sat to the left all the way past the buffet and liked this area too. The only thing I didn't like was the seasonal increase in price (which I think several restaurants charge).

We like CMC breakfast more than dinner. Guess it is because it has always seemed less hectic there in the am. We always do adr's for the earliest seating.

We have a split stay next month, due to the pin code DW received in May. So, we have 2 ressies: 1 for 1 night BC CL, 1 for 6 nights BC CL. I know we have to check out and back in on Sunday (what we were told when booking). Anybody done this, and know how quick the process is? Figured we'd do it, grab some food, eat, and head to DHS for rope drop on Sunday.

Also: anybody know if they put out just "snacks" for lunch on the CL, or do they have some more substantial food? Like the items put out each day for dinner. App-sized, but still food.

janloz - love the dining reviews!!! I think we need to fit Yachtsman in on an upcoming trip. We haven't actually ordered food at Hurricane Hanna's, but we keep saying how great the food looks as we refill our mugs. (We LOVE the new self-serve refill mug station there.) And while some regard it as a "pool bar," we think the menu looks just as substantial as a CS anywhere else at WDW. (Too bad this site doesn't list all the options, like allears does.)

When we were there this summer we stayed for 16 nights. Disney reservations will only let you book for 14 nights at a time so we had to make to separate BC CL reservations. We stopped by the CL desk the day before we had to make the "switch". They just re-took our credit card info and slipped the new keys under the door early in the morning. Really painless.

As for the afternoons at the CL it is just snacks. We really liked them though - homemade potato chips with dip, yogurt covered pretzels, cookies and some gummy worms.

For the record we love the Cape May Buffet for both breakfast and dinner! Also Hurricane Hannah's has some really good burgers and one dd loved their turkey and mozzarella sandwiches. HTH.

Unbelievably DF wants to take me to WDW for my birthday It will be a short trip over a long weekend due to work schedules and just the two of us This will also be his first trip as he normally doesn't travel...

I really want him to see "my" WDW and why I love it so much

I'm now trying to figure out which resort to book. I've stayed at the YC before and absolutely loved it. Right now I'm only finding availability at the BCV.

Anyone familiar with that section? Any differences between the YC/BC and the villas? Would this be a good choice or should I forget the Epcot resort area and book my old fave of the WL

We will probably go to both MK & Epcot (one day each) and possibly MNSSHP if it works out.

Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated!

Just need to post this so I can see my ticker.... Also Teena I just went to get Tastykakes for you something I have never tried before... I gotta tell you these are delicious!! I bought my husband the coconut juniors that he requested and those for you as well as chocolate kandykakes (aka tandykakes) DD looked them up because I told her you said tandykakes and found they have been renamed kandykakes. I just finished the kandykakes and can say I am glad I did not get any of those for me because they are soooooo good! Anyway see you soon and enjoy your trip to see you daughter!

Here's a BC CL question: DW and I take the stairs on our trips, to "justify" all the yummy food. (even though we're walking how many miles a day???) Is the elevator the only way in or out of the BC CL? Or, is there a non-emergency exit stairwell that can be used to access the CL?

Bad news/good news. You can take us off the list for BC CL 12/12/-12/18. We decided to stay in a 1 bedroom villa, nothing at BC so we are moving across the lake to BWV (ended up with a great deal though!) Hope everyone has a great vacation and we get to stay at the BC next fall!

I'm really bummed. I got really sick yesterday ... thought it was just a bad cold. Couldn't sleep at all last night. High fever, coughing and wheezing. So I had to call in and went to Centracare 8 AM this morning. I have acute brochitis. He said no work Monday either. I was so looking forwarding to meeting momof3cuteboys and cindydare and the others that are there now. Hopefully I'll be feeling better for my flight to Jeanne's on the 3rd. The doctor said I will have the cough for 3 weeks at least. He has me on z-pack and some crazy little gel pills ... prescription ... that about 30 minutes after taking it, stops my coughing totally for about 2-3 hours. It makes me really dizzy though. Bob says that's nothing new.

I was thinking of you this week when a CM friend of mine was checking us into our "My Other Bedroom" (I think that is what they call them now) reservation at BC. I wondered if you were there and if the two of you met and/or knew each other.

They are benzonatate capsules and I'm swallowing them whole definitely.
