and the surprise stay at GF for your wife!

I know. Guess we feel a little guilty staying anywhere but our beloved 'Home Away from Home'. Feel like after this we can honestly said "Been there done that" and settle back down. We did get a wonderful rate and have always love gawking at Disney's flagship!

We did enjoy the Poly and sure we wil enjoy the GF but let's be honest......It's not 'Home'!

Hey Teena!

Just wanted to send a HUGE thank you your way!! I was the gentleman who chatted you up a few nights ago about how I was booked at the Pop Century for a conference, how I always stay at the Beach Club and how much I HATED Pop!!

You were sweet enough to take the time to walk me over to the manager at the BC and ask him about room availability. Very, very sweet of you to do that for me!!

Due to budgetary restraints (because my work would only pay a certain amount) I wasn't able to move to my precious Beach Club, but was able to move to the Wilderness Lodge. I had stayed there previously and though it isn't the BC it is a thousand times nicer than Pop so it worked out great.

Just wanted to thank you for taking the time to not only chat with me but also for going over and above and doing all you could to help me get into the BC!!

And I wasn't that late for my Cape May reservation either

We're with you! I'm very sentimental about the Poly from my childhood, and it will be nice to be so close to MK because we'll spend more time than usual there for our pre-schooler's birthday trip. But we'll be so happy to be back at BC in February!! We booked our ADRs for that trip at 180 days, so I'm really excited about all our Epcot dinners and walks back to the resort at the end of the day. Can't beat that!

I haven't been posting much because we haven't booked our next BC trip yet!!! Although my 4 year old did suggest that we could make a trip to Disney World every month this year....
I'm hoping for a room-only discount for August and we'll hopefully be back to visit Teena!!!

I know - so quiet! It must be because so many of the BC/YC Disers are AT the BC/YC in December!

We'll be back at BC in February, but have everything set for now. (As always, we're considering whether to switch our garden view reservation to CL.)

Mickey T., I posted this on Dee's trip report also, but we'll be at WDW for Marathon Weekend, too! Not for the marathon - for our youngest son's birthday. And with three BC stays in a 12-month period, we decided to do something different and stay at the Poly for that one. Good luck with the run and the surprise stay at GF for your wife!

I'm hoping for a room-only discount for August and we'll hopefully be back to visit Teena!!!

Make it early August since I spend the second half of August out with Jeanne getting ready for school and then actually being there for the first week of school. I miss our talks ... hurry back!!!!!

I just booked a trip to Vegas in February. Leaving 2/15 so I'll miss work (if they even schedule me) on 2/20 and 2/21. Jeanne needs me for school on 2/16, 17 and 18 and I was invited to play in a huge invitational tournament at one of the casinos on 2/21, 2/22 and 2/23. They are comping me my room for 3 nights, giving me $100 each day in free slot play, $50 in meal credits each day and free entry into the invitational only tournament. Couldn't say no since it worked out with when Jeanne needed me too.

We have been home for 2 weeks. The week we were there flew by!

My dgs (6) told his mother he was homesick. She said but you're home...his reply, I'm homesick for Disney World!

I guess that indicates how much fun they had. I know they loved SAB. It truly was a magical vacation to spend Thanksgiving there yet again.

Gotta share. Pretty excited I got my ressie changed to standard view, from water view. You were right, Teena. Something opened up. I kept looking everyday. Now back to waiting for a discount.

WOW!! Teena, you have a busy FEB ahead of you....since I'll be there Feb 5-10th, I am hoping that you'll be there one of my days so I can say HI! I won't be back again until my 25th wedding anniversary in 2016! That's going to be a long wait!!!! (I promised my hubby though that this trip with my son would be a "getting it out of my system" trip ....problem is, I don't think i'll ever be able to get my love of WDW out of my system, and it's going to be a long 5 yrs just hanging out on the Dis boards reading about every one else's fun!!

We just got back from a great stay at the YC. We loved the resort. It sure was cold but it didn't stop us from doing what we wanted to do. The club level was incredible. I really enjoyed the food at the lounge. We had a great view overlooking the pool and the lake. I did get to meet Teena who is a very gracious lady. I just want to thank her again for all the info she has supplied about the resorts. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to return. Our next trip is in March and we'll be back at OKW.

The trip put me in the holiday spirit. Happy Holidays to everyone!

I miss you, too! We usually come in late August because of childcare issues. I try to max out the camp time and then go to Disney during the downtime between camp and school so I don't have to find childcare. We'll see...

We did character meals once a day and had so much attention from the characters (more than when we were there with kids). During a parade at MK, the characters brought us all into the parade for some dancing around. We all had t-shirts the same for every day. It was one of my greatest memories at WDW!
