I had a glass of Imperial Nectar Rose in a flute on 10/1 at about 12 pm. Later in the afternoon, probably around 6 pm, I saw a woman holding a very small glass of it (not a flute) and complaining to one of the managers who was milling around the booth. She told him if she had known the size of the pour she would have never bought it. He went directly behind the booth, got a flute and poured her a champagne on the house. So, I'm not sure if they ran out of flutes, it might be the fault of the person who is pouring.

Hey there everyone quick question as I just found the thread and going through 135 pages might be a bit unrealistic , but the DW and myself are going to our first F&W festival this year and I didn't know where else to go to find this out but, we have saved 100 bucks of Disney Dollars, can we use them for the festival? I didn't think there would be a problem to do so but I thought I'd ask.

Yes you will be able to.

I signed up for the 2 day event, but the only info we have on timing is the first night we show up a the American Adventures. I have things we already registered for before they announced this package and I am wondering if we will be able to make any of them, being non-refundable and all.

This is my first ever PFTS. Does anyone know what time and where I would go to check in? I read that they hand out tickets at the American Theater?

I know for the F&W pairings you just go directly to that restaurant. However, I'm a bit confused as to what I need to do for this event.

Thanks.

Has anyone been using the new passports they are distributing this year?

Does it seem to be slowing down the lines as people have them stamped?

I think these are a great idea, as I usually try to make up sheets for each booth and then rank items as we go. Now I can do this in the passport :thumbsup2

We did the F&W Pairing at Tutto last year and just wore what we had worn to the parks...just shorts and a t-shirt...so I would say there is no dress code...There were men and women who had baseball hats on as well...

When we booked the Dessert Party for this year, there was nothing specified as to dress code, so I'm guessing the same thing for this event...but perhaps we'll hear more from someone who goes to this week's event??

I never attend the concert part, but I think you can check in there if you do wish to attend. They have tables set up across from World Showplace (between Canada and the UK) on the lagoon side of the walkway. Cast members will check your name from a list and give you wristbands. I assume it would be the same at the America Gardens Theater.

I haven't gone since the Wine View Lounge changes, so I'm not sure what time you'd want to check in. I've usually checked in around 6pm.

Good question. I had e-mailed D23 last week and got a response that there was not set times/agenda yet, but to keep checking the D23 site.
I am not a fan of Howard Jones, so I would like to skip the concert, but no idea what time it is, too. Oh well.
:confused3

Just got back on Monday--weather was beautiful, not a drop of rain, perfect for strolling the World with a drink in hand:thumbsup2. Those of you taking children might be interested in a couple items I think they would enjoy: in Italy, the baked ravioli serving consisted of 3 nice sized ravioli that could be a mini-meal or easily shared; in China, the barbecued chicken on a stick was tasty and could also be shared. Sometimes kids aren't too adventurous and these two items might keep them happy while the grown-ups "indulge".
