2010 Deals

any idea of how long we have to wait for the 2010 package deals to show up on disneyworld.com site??
I was told that I could book now for March 2010 and when the deals came out, I could call and they would change my package for me....has anyone done that before??

All rates are out for rooms and packages for 2010. I booked way back and when the 2010 rates came out I received an email with the new amount owed one it.

The specials for 2010 are out already? I haven't seen any.

I know they have the prices of vacation packages but no specials yet. I'm anxiously awaiting the deals.

I would like to know the same, if I can book a package now, and then apply a discount code if I get one, or else apply a promotion to it, for example, the 4/3 deal, or whatever.

Thats what I was told that you could apply the 'special' later when it came out...I talked with someone through the disneyworld.com website. I am hoping for the 4/3 special!! We got that for this past July and it was a great deal!! IMO.

Yep, that's what I'm hoping for too! We got that deal in March and it worked out great! I'm hoping to be able to book a trip for late February or sometime in March.

Last year we were planning on going in Jan 09 when the 4/3 deal came out at the middle /end of Dec. We changed our plans and went in May! but, we were told that after you book you can apply any of the upcoming deals to your plan. I plan to book room only in Oct for 2010 (have not decided what month we are going as of yet!) and apply any deals that come up later.
We had the 4/3 deal in May 09 and we changed it to the "Military Salute" in March w/o any problems!

If you use Dreams Unlimited travel, the constantly search for the best deal. We made a reservation then later they were able to apply the free dining!! Plus it is a free awesome service, they take care of everything for you, including Magical express and ADRs.

I booked with Disney online last Feb. for room only. Just had to pay for the first night stay to make res. When free dining came out, I think in May, I called and changed to the package so I could get the dinning. They refunded the money already paid in my name and I made new res. for package. They said because I was going from no package to package I had to make new res. That being said, my spot in resort was already saved. I had to make new res. for room I already had. At least that's what I heard him say.

Leaving for Disney World in just under 10 hours!!!!!
