2009 rates on WDW site and they include the rates for the new Pirate rooms at CBR!

Unfortunately, they will not let you book a pirate room yet. It wouldn't let me do it online so I called and she said they received a memo that the new pirate rooms are not quite available for booking just yet and that I would just have to keep checking back. However, it shows the rates. These rooms are $25 more per night then the normal rooms (that goes for std. and wv.).

I didn't book it, but was able to price one of the pirate rooms for end of February 2009. Maybe it just wasn't available for the dates you selected?

I did the same thing again and this time I made it all the way thru to the area they ask for your CC#. I thought that was odd so I called back and got the same answer. However, I pushed the issue, telling them what I was able to do on the net and she called someone and then MAGICALLY I was now able to book! I got a pirate room! My Ds is so excited!

Since I already had a reservation at this resort, which I applied the AAA discount to earlier this AM, I called to modify my reservation to the Pirate Room. FYI: I was able to apply the AAA discount to this room too.

I was able to book our pirate room ... June 7-9 ...
I am soooo excited ...

Our rate is $210 per night ... If you do not mind sharring what was the AAA rate ???? (We have ap's so we might just see if better rates come out as the summer gets closer and then modify the resevation we already have)

I didn't get the per night rate but I did some calculations and it looks to be a 10% discount.

Our tirp longer than just three days but we have not decieded where we will be staying for the rest of the vacation yet ...

If you already have AAA I would go and apply it for the discount. If an AP rate comes out later you can call back and apply that one if it is better than the AAA. We alway apply AAA as soon as it comes out and then call back later if a code comes out. That way we are assured some discount.
