Anyone have any recollection as to when they will announce the dates for 2008 "seasons?" As in - when is value season, peak season, regular season, etc?

Also - I read on mousesavers that if you check in during one season and check out during another season that you will be charged the rate of your check in date. For example - if we check in during value season and check out during peak season, we should be charged for value season. Alternatively, if we check in during peak season and check out during regular season we will be charged peak season rates, unless we "split our stay" and essentially check in twice. Anyone have any experience on this one and could share?

Thanks!

I don't know when they'll release the 2008 season calendar, but I do have a reservation this coming December that crosses seasons. It goes from value to holiday/peak season. I am indeed being charged the value rate for all days. :goodvibes

We too are checking in during "holiday season" but actually opted to have a split reservation to save on the hotel room on January 1 which is value season.

The CM I spoke with on the phone said it would be June or July before they release the new rates. What they do is take reservations for reservations and they cannot tell you the EXACT cost of your room. Which seems crazy to me, but that is the way she explained to me.

I figure 2008 value has to be less per night and 2007 holiday rates!

I think the only time the moves around is Easter/Spring Break. Easter is March 23, 2008 so the Peak season will start very early in 2008.
