Hi everyone,

I'm getting ready to take Keegan to the doctor's to get his ppd site checked. It's totally flat and normal so I'm sure it's negative. He slept a lot yesterday and had a bloody nose from out of no where which really scared me. I'm hoping it's just the medicine causing it. He had another fever last night that quickly subsided with Tylenol. He said his chest feels worse and "crackly" today. I'm hoping that means it's breaking up. We should find out about his blood work and when his CT scan will be (tomorrow or Wednesday). We are hanging in there trying to be as positive as possible. It just kills me to see such a normally active boy sleeping so much and so pale too. I've just been cuddling with him a lot and watching him sleep. I can't believe I can't wait until he's chasing after/bothering his brother again.

I hope everyone else's children are feeling better who were sick. I don't remember a worse winter in terms of illness. I thought we were doing so well because none of us had been sick for so long.

I get to make the rest of my ADR's today and I'm not even excited about it yet.

So I was a freshman when you were a senior!

Boy oh Boy... We go to MIL's for dinner and look at all the action!:lmao:

Did anyone partake in tropical drinks without me? ;)

Off to school today. This is our first 5 day week in a LONG time.. My body will probably go into shock! Hope you all have a good one!

Good luck on your first full week back - maybe you'll get a snow day in there to break it up! LOL

Oh - and BTW - thanks for making me feel old!!! ;)

Morning Girls

You're up early. I've just got back from taking my mum shopping, which was very uneventful

I wish I had had a couple of Tropical Cocktails - but I am yet to find a calorie free one ;)

Jen, enjoy getting back into your usual routine this week

Have a great day everyone :thumbsup2

Mandy - you are right, not calorie free cocktails!!! LOL

So, what else do you have planned for today?? Anything good???

Morning ladies.
Man it was rough getting up today at 5:30. If i don't get up to wake nicole though she would never make it to school. I liked having all those days to sleep in. Well i am off to drop off sarah and austin to school.:drive:

Ahhhhhhhhhhh... gotta love the mornings!! I am at work already - BORING! I have a bunch of stuff to do here - hopefully I'll be back and forth on the boards too!!

Morning ladies. Back to the usual schedule for us too. Yay, a quiet day for mom. Lots of work to do though. I'll check in as I can. Have a great day all.

You too Sandy!! Back to reality today!! :scared:

Lots of :grouphug: and pixiedust: I just have such a positive feeling for you. I know you're going to get good news today.

Danielle,
Hope everything is o.k. at the doctor's.
Sandy, Hope you have a nice quiet day
Laurie, Sorry to hear you are at work. How was the seventy mile drive this morning?:drive:
Mandy, hope your day is going well
I am off to clean the basement ...yippee

Oh - and BTW - thanks for making me feel old!!! ;)

Me too, ugh!

I'm at work too but in my jammies. It's a quick commute from upstairs to downstairs. I LOVE working at home.

You too Sandy!! Back to reality today!! :scared:

Oh no not REALITY! It's actually nice and quiet here.

:grouphug: I hope everything goes well for you. It's horrible when the kids are poorly, I usually can't wait till they're up to mischief and being annoying again :thumbsup2

I'm not surprised you can't feel excited about making your ADR's, I'd imagine you can't think any further than these appointments

Let us know how it goes Danielle

Mandy - you are right, not calorie free cocktails!!! LOL

I wish I was doing something fun. I don't like Mondays. I take my mum shopping, do a bit of grocery shopping, then the girls come home at various times of the afternoon and then I have to play taxi and drop them back and forth at college/school and my final pick-up is at 4.30pm. I'm always pleased when it's tea-time on a Monday

Mandy, hope your day is going well

Have fun in the basement Michele :rotfl2: My day is OK, I just wish I was doing something fun

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: LOL, I had to read that twice before I realised that you were working at home :)

Do you really have to drive 70 miles?:crazy2:

Really 70 miles to work ? - what a bummer, or is she teasing and you work upstairs too ? :rotfl:

Yep Mandy, I can work in my jammies in front of the TV:happytv: or even at our local Panera having a nice frozen caramel and bowl of soup. Of course if I go there I have to get dressed:rotfl: Have laptop will travel:drive:

We are back already. His ppd was negative (no surprise). They still have not read the blood work results yet. The secretary said they were just getting them back from Friday-Sunday. His doctor is going to call sometime today. Now I get to wait and worry some more. Keegan does have a 3:15 appt so his doctor can listen to his lungs again. He seems to be coughing more and said he can taste something funky so I'm hoping it's just finally breaking up.

Have fun in the basement!! The ride to work was good - ALL 70 miles of it (that's right Mandy, it's true - no joke :) ), I left at 6:30 - had the Ipod plugged in, sang LOUDLY for a while - then my sister called me when she got in the car - yapped w/her for a bit, then talked to my cousin when she got in the car - yapped w/her - I catch up on a lot of phone calls on the drive in and home! Anyone w/Verizon Wireless - feel free to call me during drive time - free cell-to-cell ya know! :thumbsup2 LOL

I LOVE quiet - even when I am home working it seems fast paced!! I NEED to do what you do though - much better than MY job!! :crazy2:

Do you really have to drive 70 miles?:crazy2:

YUP!! :drive: That's me, driving away!! I work w/my mom and sister for a mechanical contractor in North Jersey (exit 12 on the turnpike) - anyway, when I moved down to exit 4 - I continued the drive back and forth - it is only 2 or 3 days a week, and the money is good - he gives me two gas cards, so I don't pay for gas at all, and I get paid to drive back and forth.. So, the drive is long, but it isn't horrible - and let's face it, I am working/getting paid and typing to you guys!!!! :thumbsup2

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.. that's the life - working in your jammies - that's kinda like how we all spent the weekend...

Back to work for me!

I hope so too Danielle :thumbsup2

Laurie-

DH drives everyday for work too. He gets a company car and gas card too.
Today he had to go to Rochester, 3.5 hours away, but that drive he only makes once a month. His longest drive during the week is 2 hours each way. Have fun at work :)

Fun, fun, fun - it's almost lunch time! A mere hour and 15 mins till FOOD! Probably salad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cheer2:

He has the option of staying overnight and sometimes he does. He doesn't really like to leave on Sunday though. We like to have our family time on the weekends.

Food sounds good. I haven't even had breakfast yet. Panera is sounding good right now. Obviously I haven't started WW yet:rotfl:

Keegan's doctor just called and said his white cells are elevated, showing he is fighting an infection. He said that nothing pointed to leukemia but that he wants him to still do the CT scan to rule out other things. He said we'll talk more this afternoon when he sees him and can listen to his lungs. He said crackling is good. I'm wondering if he'll have to be on antibiotics longer with the fever still coming/going. Our insurance has still not approved the CT but my DH called them and they told him the approval should go through this afternoon.

Sounds like good news is coming your way.:grouphug:

Where is everyone this afternoon?? It's VERY quiet... :tiptoe: I am sure the whole group will perk up as I drive home, then I'll have 10 pages to catch up on!!! :joker:
