I must say, I'm really impressed with you all, with how long you stay at the parks. Our typical day will be - up for EMH's at whichever park - leave around 11am/12noon - back to the hotel to lie out by the pool - visit a shopping mall - back to a park (but mainly Epcot) - then asleep due to exhaustion in front of the TV between 9pm & 10pm - how lame is that ?



Laurie - I am currently bidding on the Mickey & pals Fish Extender on ebay, but there was a fantastic Stitch one on earlier this morning, that someone snapped up quickley. So if this all falls through, then I think I'd be very interested - is she making one for you ?

I think if we had AP's we would relax a bit more - but, if I am using a hopper day on my pass, I am using it ALL day! LOL

We have mellowed out a bit - depends on the time of year and park hours too.. sometimes when you go in the slow season, hours are shorter, so you have to take advantage of it all.. Last August, we went for a trip - only went to the park ONE day - for Pirates and Princess party - didn't need to use my pass, did two days at the waterparks, a lot of character meals and things - hung by the pool, shopped.. it was GREAT!! It was hard w/the parks right there, and not going to them, but it was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO hot - relaxing and hanging in the sun was awesome!

It was cheaper to buy the AP's for the 4 of us than the 10 day no expiration tickets. We knew we'd be in WDW a few times over the full year and would be able to go to parks on the day of arrival and day of departure for a few hours which we normally would never do.

I better go get some work done. It's payroll time/my busy time for work.

WORK?!?!?!? LOL

It is horrible, we would've totally made out getting APs last year - but, we always take these 'last minute' trips, so, I never know when we'll be going next.. like - for example, this year, we have NO trips planned to WDW - but, probably by the end of the year we'll be there... who knows... and of course APs for DVC members is a huge savings as well!

I just called the police and the school today about the threat for today and got the same vague anwsers i got friday. Nobody has a clue who did it and the extra security that is in place is a joke. My friend has a friend who is a teacher at the schoo,and he told her that they suspect it is a special boy who has been looking into building bombs and trying to buy firearms on the interenet, So they are leing when they say they don't know anything . I just want some truthful anwsers from this school district. O.K. enough ranting. Hope you all have a nice day.

No she stayed home again today. I don't know about tomorrow. I was going to send her tomorrow until i found out about the kid they suspect and they are still pretending they don't know anything. I really don't know about what i am going to do now.

I've just been telling Kerry about this, she was shocked, though she made me smile when she said 'It's a sad day, when you can't send your kids to school' - I think she's 17 going on 37

I know if my dh had not walked my ds then 8 into school and the police and principal had not checked the kid and his bag who made the threats until school was over there is no way we'd have sent him. DH either has his police gun on him or it's in gun safe where the boys and I will never know the combination. The boys don't even know where it is located.
