Taylor really enjoyed Hershey Park yesterday. How could you not enjoy a place that smells like chocolate. She went to the waterpark, did rides and the factory tour. Needless to say she went to bed early last night.

I have been lurking around and am now trying to recognize everyone.

A little about us Me Mary Ellen DH Jay, DS Kevin 8 ,DD Kayleigh 11.
We will be driving down from New York to WDW Aug 16 Plan to arrive Aug 18 to SSr for 3 days Then on to Embassy Suites for 3 days Then The Cruise and Drive back over 3 days visiting with friends and relatives on the way.

So Far I have learned That Heather is getting MARRIED!!! On the boat or on Castaway Cay?

Mandy you are the ring leader and doing a great job at losing weight. We all had a stomach virus here last week and I lost 5 pounds and now I am determined to keep it off!!!

A few of you have kids around the same age as my 2 so they will be seeing each other at the Lab. My son is very outgoing and is everybodies best friend
so he should do well making friends. My daughter is a little socially immature
and awkward around boys, so maybe some of your daughters can help her out.Pam I see your DDAlana is 11 also.

I will try to find out more about all of you but 200 pages is a lot to read so I will just pick it up as I go along

Your plans before the Cruise sound great

Yes we will organise a Meet once onboard. The last few Meets I went to were both at 2.30/3pm, one was in the Promenade Lounge and the other was in Diversions (which was good as there were games, TV and other stuff to keep the kids occupied). So I'm sure we'll find somewhere to hang out and chat before the drill

I missed sailaway too! We went to Party City to get invitations for Dominic's party - which he said he didn't want, now he does, and I want to get the invitations out before school is over - so, we went there and to Wendy's for dinner, and now I am here - and I think I am w/Michele - TIME FOR BED!

We are driving down with DD Sami and stopping in NC to hunt for gem stones. Everyone else is going on the train out of Philadelphia. They are stay at Old Key West and we are staying somewhere in Coco Beach both before and after the trip.

This has been a crazy week with all of the end of the year stuff, Incredibly hight temperatures, violent thunderstorms, wide spread power outages and Tuesday a friend called me at 4 pm and said that her friend's son needs to hae a website built by 8 am the next morning or her does not graduate. Could I help him out. I went over to his house and the directions for what he needed to do were over 2 pages! It took over 5 hours to help him build an 8 page website and in the middle of it a huge thunderstorm went through, we lost power for abou 1/2 hour but finally got it done and he passed!!! I had a really hard time finding a way home, there were so many trees down and when I got there the whole side of town was in the dark!!

I am so exhausted, but I have a ton of clients that want their websites built...silly people, work would be great if it weren't for the clients!!!

Hi Everyone,

We just got back from baseball. I ended up getting a call at 5:30 from the league president looking for Brennan. His coach failed to inform him he was their team representative for the inter league all star game. He was at the mall with my parents doing some Pokemon trading. I had to drive 20 minutes home, dig out his uniform, meet them at the fields and go back and forth between that game and Keegan's. Keegan's team beat the 1st place team 6-0 so they'll be having a lot of play off games next week.

I am hot and sticky and can't wait to shower and get in bed! I know I won't be able to sleep though. I never sleep well before (or on) vacations because I'm always waking up to look at the clock to make sure we don't sleep in.

I pretty much only have my camera/phone, etc. chargers to pack and we're set. I told Brennan we have to get up early so we can go meet a friend tomorrow. When we are about 10 minutes from BWI airport, I'll give him a letter from Mickey inviting him down to SWW. I'll probably cry when he realizes where he's going and how happy he'll be.

Hi Mary Ellen and welcome. I'm Danielle, traveling with dh Derek, Keegan (DS11---he'd have been Kaleigh if he were a girl!) and Brennan(DS7). Which Embassy Suites are you staying at? We've stayed at the one in Lake Buena Vista several times. My boys love Ed the breakfast cook that calls everyone a different name and has a lot of one liners.

Diane, I sure hope you got a nice thank you card from that boy you helped out! Sounds like a lot of work and you were so kind to do it.

Michele, I hope you feel better.

We are just winging it Saturday and Sunday at DHS with ADRs at H&V and Prime Time. Monday we'll be at MK (dinner at LTT) and Tuesday Epcot before leaving for MCO.

I had the hardest time falling asleep---finally did somewhere after 1 and was wide awake at 5:30. I couldn't fall back asleep until my 6:20 alarm wake up so I got up and cleaned all our wood floors, the kitchen, dusted and cleaned the bathrooms. Derek just got up and is showering so I better get the boys up and get them ready. I'll check in late Tuesday or Wednesday to let you know how things went. Have a great next 4 days!

Morning guys! we are back!

Boston went about the way we thought it would.. Not a lot of answers yet.. Dr. Darras has asked that Em's muscle biopsy and frozen tissue be sent to Boston. He thinks there is a couple of things going on... Maybe something mitochondrial as well as a mild muscle disease or a fatty acid oxidation disorder...

The 48 hour EEG was torture... Mark and I have agreed we will NEVER make her go through that again.. It didn't help that the temps were 97 - 104 the entire time she had the 26 electrodes glued to her head..

The appt with the oral surgeon went well.. She feels that Em is not dislocating it but due to her hypotonia she is able to move it more forward than normal and that it is a habit we need to break. She has seen 2 other children with this and has successfully treated them with meds.. Em started it 2 nights ago.. We'll see how it works..

TGIF.. At least it is only 1 day this week.. 4 next week (I am taking one day off to go to Sarah;s year end celebration) 4 half days and 1 hour left of school! Then you are all stuck with me!

Yes, it's Friday, so it must be grocery shopping day - it amazes me how quick it comes round each week Then I just pick up some fresh fruit etc on a Monday. Unfortunately after my 1 pound gain, I bought lots of chocolate and pigged out when I got back. I will do my exercises this afternoon, but I am pretty fed up about the gain. I like the muscle comment, can you build up muscle in 3 days ?

I've got a bad weekend coming up too. Paul & I are staying the night in Birmingham, so that will mean a nice meal and a few drinkypoos, then on Sunday we're taking Paul to dinner at our fave Italian for Father's Day

So, I'll be back on track on Monday (yet again )
