2008, 24th/28th Aug - *Double Dipping with the Bahama Mamas* (Part 2)

My BABY is 2 today!!!

Hi Everyone!

Sorry I wasn't around yesterday. It was busy with shopping and having another party.

We got home from the party and I just cried. Emma is soooooo far behind her friend Mitchell gross and fine motor wise. I was soooo sad. I went into the "WHy did this happen to us.. Why Emma? It stinks.. etc.. etc.. etc..) The I got busy decorating and making her cake. I had to put myself into the "Jen, this is the way it is. You can either sit there, cry and feel sorry for yourself, or you can make Em's spectacular. " I chose the second.

This morning I made her pancakes which are her favorite. She can feed herself with a fork if I put it in her hand. She dropped her fork and then PICKED IT UP BY HERSELF AND FED HERSELF! This is HUGE! This time I cried out of joy! She may not be like other kids but I sure do love her and am so proud of her "inchstones"!

Good morning ladies-

Hope everyone is having a great day so far. I slept in today and it felt so nice.

Mandy- Hope you stayed dry at the match. I stayed up late last night watching Catherine Tate and Graham Norton clips on You Tube. I laughed and laughed.

Michele- What are you up to today?

Laurie- Hope your weather is better today. Where did you go out to dinner last night?

Jen- So sorry yesterday was hard on you. I was actually bragging about Em's potty training to my mother-in-law. My nephew will be 4 in November and absolutely refuses to use the potty. You must be so excited about her using her fork. That is so great. Keep up the good work Em and HAPPY 2nd Birthday!

Woohoo !! , It's 17 Weeks till our Cruise

Yay, we're another week closer till our Cruise. Did anyone do any holiday clothes or FE shopping this weekend ?

This morning we're going to Birmingham to the mall there as Kerry wants to do some clothes shopping for when she goes on holiday with her best friends family at the end of June

Then this afternoon, Paul & I are going to a Rugby match - I just hope it stays dry, but it's due to rain

Afternoon Girls

It has been lovely here this morning. We took the girls to Birmingham, and we did a bit of holiday shopping. Kerry had a dress and two pairs of sandals, Becky got some shorts and I got some cropped jeans, though they're not for my hols

This afternoon Paul & I went to the Rugby match. It was Munster (an Irish team) v Saracens (which I think are a London team). We decided to support the Irish (as my dad is from Ireland) and it was a great game, with Munster winning.

It began to pour down during the game, but thankfully it dried up as we walked back to the car. Once we got home, the heavens opened. So I'm pleased to be home now

Anyway, I hope to catch up with you later to see the Disney Wonder set sail

Well it's only 11am over here, and I've been quite busy. I took the car to the garage early, then I walked into town (which is about 1 1/2 miles away), I wandered around the shops and bought myself some white cropped jeans in the sales, and then I walked home

I'm knackered now and I'll be staying home now until I get a phone call from one of the garages to hopefully pick the cars up
