Thanks for the hard work on our new home Mandy.

Lauri, sorry the Mets lost. Our poor Orioles haven't done well in years.

Diane, you can't get free dining with DVC. Hopefully one of these days they'll change it like when they added the dining plan.

We are DVC members and decided to stay in a value resort (Pop) from Aug 28-Sept 1 to take advantage of free dining. We'd have spend just about $500 on the dining plan through DVC. We are now paying $666 (I hate that number---dh even asked if they could add $1) for 4 nights at the Pop Century with free dining. We also had to buy one day (non hopper) park tickets (included in the $666) so that we could get the free dining. We have annual passes and don't need the tickets, so they are going to let us apply full ticket value towards our annual pass renewals in November. So for $166 extra over what we'd originally pay, we are getting about $250 off our tickets. We also got back the 56 points we are saving by not booking a studio through DVC. We took those points and switched our trip in December from a studio to a one bedroom. I've never stayed at the Pop Century and we are looking forward to it.

Does anyone have any yard sale experience? We've been in our home 6 years now and still have boxes we haven't unpacked plus an accumulation of outgrown kids clothes (about 25 big rubbermaid totes full), 3 strollers,a high chair, booster high chair, pack and play, wagons, kids ride on toys, and tons of big plastic toys. I know I could get a lot more on Ebay and child consignment shops, but I don't have the time or the desire to do it. We could probably get a nice tax write off too but I figure even if we sell stuff for $1 it will add up fast and be nice spending money for our cruises. We could probably even make enough to go on a cruise. I really want to clean out the basement--it's about 1300 sq feet and about 40% is storage. Basically, I need to know how to price clothes, strollers, etc. The strollers are a nearly new jogging stroller we paid about $150 for and used maybe 3 times, a deluxe stroller we never used because it was too heavy we paid about $250 for and a sit and stand double stroller in nearly new condition. The clothes are mostly Gap, Gymboree, Osh Kosh, Old Navy, Nike and Carters. Most of the Osh Kosh stuff also has matching socks and a few tops to go with a few pants in the same pattern with different syles. Should I just sell them by the bag full?

Garage sales.. let me say this - a $250 stroller - you'll get 30 bucks... people are so cheap when they come to garage sales.. we've had them before, and you get rid of a lot of stuff, it's amazing what people buy.. but, don't get your hopes up for paying off a cruise - that won't happen!! When we moved, we made like $350/$400 which I thought was great - but, you watch those shows like "clean house" - which I love by the way - they make thousands of dollars - NO clue how that happens.. Good Luck!

The Webmasters found that the reason the boards were so slow was due to very long threads, so they chose 3750 posts or around 250 pages to close a thread and we'd have to start a new one

Today I have been already busy running around with PTA stuff. The photocopier at the school broke (probably because of all my copies ) and is being repaired early this afternoon so I have a little break

Dinner last night was very nice. The restaurant we picked was very busy so it was not so quiet but I did get to enjoy my meal which is all that matters these days. Hope everyone is having a great day!

Hi everyone!! Finally feeling better today yea Michelle I can't wait to hear what your fil wants Hurry up and get back on here girl!!! I want the scoop.

I had Haley and Sydney's parent teacher conferences tonight, seems as if they still have everybody at school fooled into thinking they are angels Angelina has her first lacrosse game tomorrow so that should be exciting Unfortunately her best friend and 2 other girls that she has played summer league with for three years got cut from the team so her heart has not been in it. Our district is so big that they cut kids at the modified level(7th and 8th grade)

I am off to bed in a few! It's been another LONG day!! Work, then after work Ant had a few friends here, then we ran to grab quick Wendy's (I was NOT good), then out for a few FE things, now here I am!

I had Idol on, but they are begging for money - so, I turned that off to watch the Mets - luckily they are winning today! (so far!) So, tomorrow will be a better day!

I am working again tomorrow - supposed to go out to dinner w/my friend Laura - not sure if we are going or not - I might be tempted to be bad again!

My sis is in from FL this Friday - We have our last CCD up north on Saturday morning, and my fav cousin's surprise party, and baseball on Sunday - then my sis goes home But, at least we'll have most of the day on Friday to go out and goof around! Oh - and my Dad is supposed to come up this weekend too!! So, that makes me happy as well.. then TUESDAY I have to go to COURT for the crap w/the other sister - why can't she be normal?? UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Enough of my rambling.. Goodnight ladies!! Hey - we get to watch the Wonder pass by tomorrow, right??

Talking of the Fish Extender exchange, I'm going to post a little questionnaire later, to see if everyone is happy with the way it is, or if anyone is starting to get concerned about the size and expense of it. Please either post on here or PM your answers to me, and I can see if we need to make any changes

1. Have you started shopping for the FE exchange ?

2. Are you happy with the way the FE exchange is ? So if more people decided to take part, you'd be happy to buy presents for everyone ?

3. Would you prefer if we broke the list down into smaller groups ?

4. To those not sure whether to take part or not, does the size of the list put you off from joining in ?

5. Do you have any other concerns ?
