Going down to learn about the new Universal land/sea vacations with Royal Caribbean. I'll be staying at Royal Pacific for 4 nights.

Wow, how cool. I hadn't heard about Universal teaming up with RCL, I would imagine that it could be quite popular

Sandy, you must be so excited about your next work trip ~ you're a lucky girl. What's your itinerary ? Tell me all about it

I am a little excited, if only to get to some warmer weather. I get there late Thursday afternoon and will be celebrating my friend Scott's b-day with him. Then bright and early Friday morning we will start our learning and do a ship inspection of the Monarch of the Seas. Saturday we will have tickets for the Mardi Gras parade and Nelly concert. Sunday is more learning and park tours. Wish you guys were going to be there. Air came out today for the August cruise dates. I'll have to start working even harder on Christopher

Your work trip sounds like lots of fun, especially meeting up with your friend, the Mardi Gras parade and the Nelly concert.

How are the flight prices looking ? any bargains ?

Our DCL travel kit came at the weekend I'll have to get it paid off in the next few weeks if I want to book Palo's at 90 days

I've still got everything crossed that you will all be joining us this August ~ we'll have a great time

Guess what, I'm still not packed - lol. I'll probably do it in a panic later tonight.

I'm not sure where we will be eating tomorrow. I guess it depends on where we can get in during his dinner break.

Right now I have to go do some laundry so I have something to put in the suitcase.

The trip was good. I really LOVED the Universal hotels. Can't wait to stay at Hard Rock when Harry Potter opens next year. You should come at the same time. It would be loads of fun. I'll post my pictures to Facebook as soon as I get a chance. I was supposed to get home last night but delays and an overbooked flight changed those plans and I didn't get home until today at noon so I am super tired.

What have you got planned for the weekend ? Anything nice ?

Paul & I are going down to Cardiff tomorrow. We're meeting our friends Jules & Ian (who we got incredibly drunk with on New Year's Eve in Epcot ). We're meeting up around lunchtime at our hotel, then getting a taxi to the Hard Rock Cafe - then after an afternoon of eating, laughing, chatting and drinking many cocktails we'll go back to the hotel to chill out for a while, then get ready to go out for a meal around Cardiff Bay in the evening

We're also hoping to meet up with our friend Sue, but she's been poorly over the last couple of days - so it will be a shame if we don't get to catch up with her

Kerry & Becky are having Bex over to stay tomorrow night, so I'm sure they'll have fun too

I hope Tori has a fantastic Prom (they're growing up too quick ). I hope she has a great evening
