Mandy - at seaworld we will not be riding kraken. DD is still to young and DH and myself are not thrill seekers. (last year I was so thankfull that DD was too short for space mountain)

we are glad our ds will go on it by himself now!!!

Taylor had me go on space mountain 4 times. It was her favorite after rockin' rollercoaster

We only became thrill seekers about 5 years ago, up until then I was always scared of those kind of rides. I love upside down rides now, but I hate Space Mountain - it's just too rocky for me

I can't believe that in 3 days I'll finally be in the same time zone as most of you

My 'this time next week' is, we'll be going to SeaWorld and I'll be nervous about riding Kraken for the first time. Later in the day, Paul & I have an ADR at Restaurant Marrakesh in Epcot

I've got lots of washing to do today, one lot of bedding is already in the washer, and I'm off to town to run some errands soon

Danielle - I got your email - I am so ticked that we are leaving on the 29th - wish we were able to tour the castle suite - that is SO cool!

Sandra - are you able to sleep at night w/only 3 left (now 2) - as it gets closer, my nights are getting 'restless' - We have 6 'sleeps' left before we go!!

So - today I am home - work was CRAZY yesterday - SO busy! We have a ton of work coming up, so the phones are ringing like mad!!

Anyway - We are having Dominic's bday party today - his actual bday is Sept. 13, but he wanted his friends for a pool party - and it looks like it is going to be a perfect day! I ordered a 'cookie cake' - that's what he wanted... also, a pretzel tray for picking w/other snacks, and I figure we'll just order a pizza for them to eat - the boys never care about the food - they just want to swim and be crazy! So - that works for me!

We were SUPPOSED to go down the shore tomorrow - but, my friend that usually lets my dogs out has a doc's appt in Philly and won't be around - so, I think we'll just stay home - I am totally not in the mood to sit in the car for a couple of hours to walk around in the heat! LOL But, we'll see!

Friday - we are having lunch w/some of the boys friends.... Saturday we have a bday party at noon, Sunday is cleaning and final packing stuff, Monday is work PLUS mani/pedi for me! Then we are outta here FIRST thing Tuesday morning!!!!

Oh, and.................... I put all of my FE stuff in a suitcase - thank God we bought new ones - it took up one whole suitcase! UGHHHHHHHHHHh

Enough of my rambling!! I'll be back a bit later! Need to straighten up my house for the big bash!

I don't think we'll be shopping on Monday Laurie, as I know we'll be at Animal Kingdom in the morning followed by breakfast at Tusker House, then at 4pm, we've got a UK Community 'Meet' at the Rose & Crown in Epcot **BTW girls, if you're in Epcot Monday afternoon (18th), then come and say 'hi', it's not exclusive to just UK'ers, and it would be lovely to meet you**

I'm looking forward to a bit of pampering. I'm having my hair done tomorrow, then my nails on Friday, but I don't think I'd want anyone touching my feet either

She looked cute in her light blue CVS shirt and khaki pants and she came out smiling.


Mandy - Where will you be on Thursday and Friday next week? We will be doing AK on Thursday morning, Hollywood Studios that afternoon/evening. Then MK Friday morning and Epcot that night for EMH. Saturday we have a late breakfast at Kona Cafe' and then the girls will go to whichever park they want, I will be at the resort doing laundry Then we have dinner w/ my MIL at Jiko followed by Wishes at MK.

Michele - Is Nicole happy to have school over with? Hope you get to enjoy yourself a little today in all the running around. I will be continuing to pack and getting documents ready to mail.

Laurie- Have a great time with Dominic's party. I vote for Chick-fil-a. mmmmmm

On Thursday, we are doing morning EMH's at the Magic Kingdom, and the girls are meeting some friends of theirs there, then we've got a late breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table. Later in the afternoon, Paul & I (not too sure about the girls) are going over to Port Canaveral to see the Disney Wonder leave

We haven't got any plans for Friday yet, as there aren't any morning EMH's that day, and we've got dinner at Chef Mickey's that evening. There's a good chance that we could be in Epcot that evening though, as we may fancy a drinky-poo around World Showcase, so that may be easy to arrange

On Saturday we'll be at DHS (MGM) for morning EMH's, and we've got a late breakfast at Chef Mickey's - but that may get changed as we are at Chef Mickey's the day before

I'm not really sure. It's a purply red color and sweet. So yummy...... I have to be careful with those. They hit you hard after a couple. Although I'm a real light-weight because I rarely drink.

New Kungaloosh Recipe -- since 2000 or so

1 cup Daily's Strawberry Daiquiri Mix
1/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum
1/4 cup blackberry brandy

Toss it in a blender with enough ice to make it slushy

I guess we all have been busy trying to prepare for our trips.

A Special Welcome to Kelly and Family
We are Mary- Ellen DH Jay, DD Kayleigh 11 and DS Kevin 8. I guess the kids will get to know each other in the kids club.

We are driving down This Friday. Hope to be on the road by 2 in the afternoon, stopping in Roanoke VA,Friday and then Atlanta Ga Sat to visit our nephew in the hospital. and Hope to arrive around 9PM Sunday at SSR.

My house is trying to do us in. Everything keeps breaking! After the A/C got fixed(which my husband did himself after the service co said it would cost $400 for a thermostat), The well pump kept tripping the electric breaker and then we would have no water . Then it finally tripped the main breaker and we had no electricity . Luckily a member of my church is an electrician and came over and ran a temporary line, so we can survive until after vacation.However this afternoon My TV(which is only 8 months old)decides not to work anymore. Well that will have to wait until we come back.
I hope the house is still standing when we return(or maybe not, a fresh start might be good)only kidding

Good evening Ladies,

You'll never guess what came up on my computer at work when I tried to sign onto the DIS this morning "WARNING!! THE SITE THAT YOU ARE TRYING TO ACCESS IS NOT AUTORIZED!" I could not believe it! I knew it was coming but I was hoping they wouldn't take my DIS from me. I was a fish out of water today. But, ahhhhh, I'm back.

I can't believe how fast our trip is coming. We fly down next Saturday. I'm still stashing clothes in the spare room. All of my suitcases as there too. I need to pack my FE stuff. I'm going to do some more sewing tonight too. Hopefully I will be done all my sewing by Monday. I get my hair done on Saturday. I'm still debating if I'm getting a pedi or do it myself.
I called my cousin to make sure that she will be able to take us to the airport. We're set! I can't wait to meet everyone!

Taylor has been staying with my parent since the end of camp last week. I take her to work with me when my boss is not in the office.

This time next week we'll be heading to our hotel at BWI airport! Keegan has a football scrimmage from 6-8PM and then school orientation from 8-8:45PM that night so we will pretty much be getting there around 10PM. I can't believe they have orientation that late! It's a 4th-6th grade intermediate school so I guess the 6th grade has the latest orientation session that day---he's one of the 3 6th grade classes with orientation that late. Brennan has orientation on Tuesday at 6:30PM.

Sandy, I'm busy no matter what day it is and what time it is. I guess it makes the time go quicker, but I'm looking forward to some down time and no driving to practices on our vacation.

Mandy, do you still have an ADR at Chef Mickey's on Friday 8/22? I think I recall early on that you said you'd be there right after we have eaten.

Diane, I actually cried when the doctor said I had to be in casts for 6 weeks. I thought I would't be able to play volleyball, but it worked out and my feet healed fine. I have to call and check on Kevin. I haven't called them in 2 days and didn't want to "bother" them too much since they are in the hospital all the time with him when they aren't sleeping. Last I heard 2 days ago, he was having a very hard time breathing because of fluid in his lungs. He's too weak to walk and can barely talk. His dad told me he asked him to just hold his hand because he was so sad. I started choking up hearing that. I feel so bad for them. A 13- year- old should be worried about his new teacher and what shoes to get for school, not trying to breathe and fighting to live. His dad said he can't use his stomach tube for feedings yet because of the infection, so they have a port giving him nutrition/meds and he gets 1 ounce of apple juice an hour.

Laurie, I hope Dominic's party went well. Happy early birthday to him!

Mary Ellen, I hope nothing else breaks at all! With those odds, maybe you'll get lucky and win bingo on the cruise (if you play!) I hope your nephew is making good progress.

Betty, sorry you can Dis anymore at work. Good luck with your sewing.

I have to really start thinking about what we are going to be packing. I've been trying to catch up with laundry. I'm thinking I'm going to take an outfit a day for the boys and hope I don't have to do laundry. Then again, I'm not too optimitic they won't go through them all before half the trip is over. Those Mickey bars sure make a melted mess---but are so good!

We are doing Boma for dinner on 8/21, MK and then Chef Mickeys for dinner on 8/22 and Epcot with the Garden Grill for dinner on 8/23. I was just thinking maybe we'll DHS for EMH on 8/23 and hop to Epcot at noon. When I booked ADRs, I thought we'd do DHS after we disembark since that's worked for us in the past. I'm not too sure we'll get to do Toy Story Mania though if we aren't there by 11:00. When we were there in June, the FP's were all gone by 11-11:30 each day.
