For all of you who have already visited the Food and Wine Festival this year, please share your photos of the food offerings and what country's kiosk you found them. It would be great to have a central mini-review with pictures for those of us who have yet to go this year! There are so many choices, maybe this could help us narrow it down. Thank you in advance! :thumbsup2

I didn't take any pics yesterday. Bad Dis'er!! I'm going back this weekend though so I'll try to do it then.

Just bumping this back up to Pg. 1 because I'd love to see some pictures too.

I have photos in the blog. I don't plan to post them.

Most of them are from events, not the kiosks.

DH and I were careful to photograph almost everything we sampled over a 5 day stay - only doing food and wine fest.
How can I share them?

ps - keep in mind I have an 8.2 megapixel camera and the files are huge...so I need to know the best way to share with the group

Upload your photos to some place like photobucket.com and then you can resize them before posting them.

Sorbet from France kiosk - white chocolate, raspberry, and champagne
Absolutely wonderful! :thumbsup2

I was so intriqued with all of the yummy food, I forgot to take pics. I know, I am such a bad DISer... :headache:

Ok, this is my first time trying this. I put together an album on photobucket with all 51 samples dh and I shared at this year's f&w fest. I am hoping that it works - if not, I might need a little coaching! If it works - enjoy...

The link worked great - thanks so much for posting it here! I'm really excited now - we leave on Monday morning and I can't wait to get to those food booths!

Great pics! :goodvibes

A friend and I went today. I remembered to take pics this time! Sorry a few are blurry, it was really tough to see if they were in focus since it was so sunny out today.
Peru...
Arroz con Pato - Roast Duck with Cilantro Rice (pretty good- rice tasted like rice though)

New Zealand...
Marinated Seafood Salad - Chilled Bay Scallops, Shrimp and Squid in a Lime Dressing (very good! My friend's fave and my 2nd fave)
IMG_7630Small.jpg

France...
Escargots Persillade en Brioche - Provence-style Snails with Garlic and Parsley in Brioche (My absolute FAVE! Gf's fave too but on a different level than the seafood salad. We went back for seconds on this! The bread was very fresh and the garlic butter was so yummy!!!)
IMG_7632Small.jpg

Germany...
Spaetzle with Creamy Mushroom Ragout (this had good flavor but the spaetzle was like very undercooked pasta to me. Not something I'm used to)
IMG_7634Small.jpg

India...
Indian Rice and Coconut Pudding (blech! Had this last week and it was really good, this week it tasted like something had gone bad- it had a bad flavor and a fizzy taste on your tongue. We tossed it after a few bites)
IMG_7635Small.jpg

China...
Pork Pot Stickers, Chicken Sha Cha (not impressed by either)
IMG_7637Small.jpg

IMG_7638Small.jpg

Spain...
Spicy Calamari Stew with Saffron Rice (very spicy but good! Calamari was a bit chewy)
IMG_7640Small.jpg

Canada...
Maple Custard with Almond Crumble, Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup (soup was better this year IMO, custard was very good)

I'm hoping to head back a 3rd time before it ends!
