Nancy and I feel the same way we are t-Shirt jeans or shorts depending on the weather. Now the big question Joan HA HA are you guys attending the Ball?We have the garb but do we want to bother to take it with us? HA HA.
Oh you said you were going to eat at the Animal Kingdom. If we hook up would love to dine with you.
Nanc is calling we are on our way to a Sea Dogs Baseball game in Portland.

I really doubt that I will bring a dress and Roger a suit. We will just have to watch from above if what we have on really won't fit in. I have yet to wear jeans for dinner, usually capri's and a nice blouse or a nice pants suit. Roger wears dockers & golf shirts. Last year our table mates wore shorts to dinner on formal night. it really didn't bother us at all. they were very nice people. They were sunburnt and didn't want to wear pants and she panty hose.

I think the ball would give us a good excuse for a nice picture for DH's parents. It's been ages since we did anything dressy around here. We've both changed so much since our last picture.

DH loves Star Trek. He tivo's Voyager and some TNG. He would get a kick out of trek talk at the atrium get together.

We are trying Rose and Crown for the first time that night. Friday night we're at LeCellier. So looking forward to it all.

We're there at the first of the month but over at Bonnet Creek. The girls will be with us for that trip (fall break at school). Mickey twice in one month, can't wait.

Ive told my wife about all the Trek talk here, and she suggests we wear Pirate - Trek uniforms ( ? ) on pirate night.

We are driving down Saturday. We will be at the meet at 3. Then we have dinner reservations at Boma's. Any one is welcome to join us. We have never been to the Animal kingdom lodge.

We are also going to Animal Kingdom Lodge Saturday night, but we won't be arriving until late.

In my humble opinion, the AK Lodge is the best resort on Disney property. There is so much to see and do there, and the lobby atmosphere is extremly relaxing. DW has a few pictures of me asleep in the rocking chairs on the lower level of the lobby. You will enjoy it.

Just checking in with various comments. My DW Mary Jo is letting me post for a change.

I am also a "number cruncher" a CPA who specializes in litigation support and white collar crime investigations. We have 3 grown daughters, 2 are school teachers and our youngest is a CM at WDW and coming with us with her DBF(She has a degree in Special Ed, but would rather work at Disney).

We will NOT be wearing formal wear to the ball. I will be looking forward to the meeting at Beach Club on Sat so I can put faces with the names. Although I admit I cheat, and look at the pictures posted on the DIS chart to get an idea of faces and personalities.

Good morning everyone! Never did get to the updates on the web page so bear with me - hope to have it updated this week.

My dress outfit is something I got for the 10 day cruise. It is a long black skirt and a two piece sweater set in gold. Packs easily and is very comfortable and best of all I don't have to wear any pantyhose with it. We'll bring Mark's suit as well.

I'm gonna wear my hospital uniform. That'll catch an eye or two


I don't have dress up anymore - all I've know for a couple of years is hospital gowns

It'll all work out - I'll go into LInda's closet and see what she has - has to be something there

Hi Everyone,

Well, it’s official – finally! We’re going to be joining you on the member cruise. It’s our second member cruise, we were lucky enough to be on last year’s. It’ll be myself, my husband to be and our two sons, ages 3 and 6.

We’ll be at the animal kingdom villas before the cruise, and Saratoga after --- we can’t wait to get to Disney. I’m not sure who’s more excited --- the kids or the grownups. It’s our first vacation this year, and it should be really special.

So, the big news is that we’re going to do the wedding ceremony on the ship. Unfortunately, our friends had to back out, so here's a request:

If anyone wants to join us at the reception during the day at sea, we’d love to have some friends with us. Let me know!

Well, I have to go; I’m supposed to be working … Look forward to getting to know everyone.

Wow, can't believe it's Tuesday already. Took my car in this morning for new brakes, so I walked to work from the Midas Shop. Figured it was good training for the 1/2 marathon this weekend at DL! I think I must have walked 1/2 mile from Midas to my office.

Yep, I'm ready...........................

Anyway, I've only got three days left to get my house cleaned before Kay gets here. I do have the guest bedroom cleaned though! So she will have a clean bed! And, I just have to vacuum the upstairs hallway and the staircase and then I'm on the main floor.

Think I need to leave work early today so I can go home and finish cleaning.

Okay, work to do.....I gotta get ready for another vacation!
