2006 package? Increase?

Has any one heard if you don't pay the balance of you package by tomorrow (August 6) you have to pay the new ticket price plus the new county 1%resort tax increase?

The tax rate is being assessed to everyone as I was told it is out of Disney's control (the extra money doesn't go to them).

As for park passes as long as you have a package, you will not pay the increase on the tickets (unless you modify the package later, ie change resorts, etc.). I went through this with many clients last January and even those who had booked but where still within the 14 days for the deposit to be paid, were still given the "lower" rate

I called to change resorts today and I specifically asked if I needed to pay in full today to avoid paying the increase. She said that I would not be charged the increase in tickets only the 1% which of course is taxes and out of there control. She seemed pretty knowledgable and seemed to have it together so I think I believe her.
