2006 Halloween Party Characters?

Does anyone have any idea about which characters are going to appear at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year yet, particularly in regards to the rarities?

We went to MNSSHP last year.

We didn't meet any rare characters. We saw very few characters in fact. My son thought he'd see villains, but we must have missed them. The only characters we saw at MNSSHP were ones you can see in the park every day (Buzz, Baloo, etc.) None were in Halloween attire, just regular characters.

I've seen others with great photos. Maybe we just had an off night. Several others who went on the same night as us didn't meet any villains or holiday characters, either.

Last year, the villians were doing meet-n-greets near the castle, I think. We didn't see any of them (were with other members of the family who weren't interested in seeing them), but we did see Tarzan and Jane, who are pretty rare! We also saw Mickey dressed up like a farmer, which was fun because no one was around and he was bored, so it was fun interaction.

We have seen/got pictures with Malificent, Evil Queen, Abu, Old Hag, Prince John, Minnie as a witch, Chip and Dale in spider masks, Meg, etc.. There are other characters but these were some of the rarer ones

Hey! I been wondering the same thing! I have tickets to one party this year, and if it's good, I can squeeze in another! I sure hope Disney doesn't disappoint! In the last three years, I met some awesome characters there - the best character event of the year, in my opinion!

Like others said, once I also hit an "off night" once at a MNSSHP, and it was Halloween night itself! I guess all the CMs were out trick or treating or something and they couldn't get people to work? Some parties do have more characters out than others, and I haven't been able to figure out any pattern to it. Also, some of the characters do maybe only three meeting sessions for the whole night, at about 25 minutes a session. So it is VERY easy to completely miss many characters, especially the dwarves! So please Disney, get some good ones out this year!

Last year we found Frollo, Mr. Walrus, Queen of Hearts, Evil Queen, Big Bad Wolf, Jafar, Maleficent, Abu, all 4 Little Einsteins, Tarzan & Jane.

We saw many of the more common ones that we already had.

We missed the Dwarfs (going back this year to find them )

You saw Goliath last year? Wow! I was at three parties the third week of October, and never saw him once! I did see him at 2004 and 2003, but not 2005. Hopefully he will make his presence known again!

Last year we saw the Winnie the Pooh characters that were all dressed up in their halloween costumes - Very cute!!

We've seen Malificent, Evil Queen, Scrooge McDuck, The Wolf from Peter Pan, I think, Chip and Dale in costume and some of the Country bears, I don't recall any others particular to the party (other than the ones in the parade). There were some more villians at the castle, but the others were just normal ones we've seen other times (Frollo, Capt. Hook, etc.) There might have been others, I had the digital and my DW had the 35mm, I only have the digital ones online (click the links to see the pics). There were CM's in costume, The Dapper Dan's for instance.

Wow!! Great characters found there, and great night photos, too! The wolf (actually a fox) is Foulfellow, from Pinocchio! Was this back in 2003? I haven't seen the Snow Witch in awhile!

Thanks for the kind words. It was at the party in 2003. We haven't been back since (well not back for MNSSHP, we did go to WDW for a week in Apr 05).

I just got off the phone with a CM making the final payment on our upcoming trip. I notice you'll be a ASMu 9/29-10/2, we will be there 9/29-10/8. We are going to the 10/2 MNSSHP. Maybe we'll see you there!

BTW, thanks for the correction on the Foulfellow. I've never been a fan of Pinnochio so I appreciate the education.

I hope to get to the 9/29 and 10/2 parties! Can't wait!! And you can find me easily at All-Star Music! I guarantee I will be in the furthest room in the furthest building, in the farthest corner from everything, 'cause that's where I always am! So I guess that would be the back corner of Country Fair, overlooking nothing but bugs and weeds, probably a top floor. (We are always put in the farthest building from everything - become a joke in our family!). I usually wear my green DIS button, to find other DISers!

Where was he? And what date?

He was in fantasyland. Exactly where I can't remember. I want to say close to the sword in the stone. But I am not sure. The date I saw him was I believe the 8th of October but I can't really remember. Hope that helps.
