Hi all! Boy, you've been busy chatting while I've been swamped at work! Tom and I went to the Outback Restaurant tonight and I had a Killer Kool-Aid! Of course they didn't know how to make it and our waitress had to come back three times to ask what was in it! The good news is that it tasted awesome but not as good as the ones on the cruise!

I've got a lot of pages to catch up on so I'll just say - happy birthday and anniversary to anyone I may have missed. Also, Welcome Back Matt and Julie!! I hope there are some pictures posted in all of the pages I need to read!

I'm going to try to come back for chat later tonight. Annmarie

Weather update - they (Michigan weatherforecasters) say that the storms are dying down - the snow should be going up north of us - but it looks like you will be driving thru rain - is it snowing in Chicago - they just showed Mickey Mouse and some carolers on the Weather Channel.

I hope for you that its not bad as Soap weekend. Today was just crazy and I didn't even stay for Luke and Laura.

We did go see a preview of finding nemo the musical. I can not say enough good things.

We are looking for info about ESPN weekend. Have the dates been announced and any special apperances?

We are looking forward to the next Member cruise regardless of the reservation system but could the gifts be a little easier to pack? The giant boxes did not fit well into the extra bag we brought

Well, I do have something that should make you feel like we'll have even a better trip. Gary just got home from having a new battery put in my van. We figured, with the road trip, we should check to make sure all is well. Well, all wasn't well -- the battery itself only had a charge of 200 or something like that and should have had a charge of 800+.

Bottom line, it's new and hopefully improved.

Oil change is done, kids are packed. Just need to load up and go!

Might be slow going though. What's the weather in Michigan? Does anyone know?

It's calling for rain/snow on the west side of the state, but from the middle of the state east is just calling for rain. It doesn't look like it will be too much trouble.

See you tomorrow afternoon :Pinkbounc

Diana, the puzzle arrived today - very creative packaging :thumbsup2 Deanna loved the picture from Emma, she has it hanging in her room.

Thanks again for the puzzle - can't wait to start on it.

You would have really called it creative packaging if you would have seen the box I was trying to fit the whole box in. I was like-- I just KNOW I can fit this in. :sad2: If I would have gotten it in, it's wasn't coming back out, that's for sure.

I can't wait to see it finished!

Stacy, I'm thinking we need to see some of those pictures :smokin:

And, Gail & Diana --- you've been holding out on this info for weeks now? How many dinners did we have together and you both conveniently forgot to mention any of this????

I seriously have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. :drinking1 :faint:

See what happens when you SO starts posting on the DIS. It happens with me & Gary all the time. I'll post something, he'll reply back to me. He'll post something, I'll reply back to him. It's even better when Gary's at work, I'm at home and we're talking to each other via the DIS. :confused3

Sometimes we communicate better online - by email and by IMing! :lmao:

Curt, my navigational road trip plan is to take I-90/94 South out of the Windy City and hook up with I-94 East through the Hoosier State and follow that up into the Great Lake State, cruising East bypassing Ann Arbor and catching I-96 East to I-275 North to our final destination - H

TERS!
 - No, I meant the Holiday Inn in Farmington Hills, yes ::yes:: that's what I meant to say.

We got some great news today...our exchange with II came up with a match. It is for a studio the week before we originally wanted to go. Needless to say we grabbed it. Since we were planning on a regular hotel room a studio should suit our needs just fine. I'm going to wait for the confirmation to come in and then I will call and change our original package to flight only. Yeah!

Wonderful news. Enjoy!

Hey all of you going to the meet have a heck of a good time for us all!
Sure wish it was a little closer to me...if it was at Diana's I might have
ventured over.

Started my new job this week. Its been a combo of fun and frustrating but fortunately it didn't feel like it made me more tired..it's only four hours so pretty doable even after a 8 hour shift at my day job.

Have put away most of the Disney memorabilia, the "can" came in handy and looks cute. I have to get motivated to do the scrapbook thing now. I'm excited to sign up for the CJ but not sure how it's going to work.

Have a good day and a great weekend to those traveling!

Good luck with the job Ilene. I know what it's like to venture out into new territory. After 23 years in the private sector, I took a Civil Service job.

Everyone coming from out of town for the DIS meet - drive safe and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again! It's been a party that should never end.

Hope you all have a great time. Sorry we can't be there. Come to NY for the next one!

I showed up.....just as Mary and Curt were saying goodbye....and now I'm alone in chat. Ah, well, I needed to get to bed anyway. :)

Hi All!

The weather in NJ has been BEAUTIFUL the past 2 days. Not as great at CC though :rotfl2:

I finally posted a reply on the slacker thread. I guess I just needed to vent a bit more. We got our announcement to Join in and set sail in 2007 for the Member Cruise. I was so upset, DH (Joe) had to remind me that DVC will do what they want. I just think it is really bad to bite the hand that feeds you, in the hopes that there will be new hands out there.

Anyway...

A BIG thanks to all who made the cruise special with your smiles and your surprises. This THANKS is LATE in coming, but it's from the heart! :lovestruc

ENJOY THE WEEKEND!

Ok where was I during this moon situation as I do not seem to recall and I'd only had 2 drinks total :)
Ok no actually skin was seen but plenty of derrieres were popping up!
I believe Curt started it all with his "guess the butt" contest proposition.

I have not been reading the threads for the last few days. If I missed anything BIG let me know!

My SIL's wedding was last night. Might I say this was the biggest FUBAR'd wedding I have ever been associated with. Glad it is over! Some family left tonight. Some will leave tomorrow and the rest on Sunday morning! YEAH!!!

Mary and Mark I am so glad your exchange came through. That is GREAT and much faster than I expected. Are you waitlisted for a two bedroom or just sticking with the studio?

I really just wanted to say I hope all of you getting together this weekend have a GREAT time!
