Have fun at Disneyland, Roxann!! Which, I'm sure isn't a hard thing to do!!!

I've been actively trying to clean up the garage and my office/scrapbook room all at once. I have found PILES of stuff to put on eBay, like baby clothes and Partylite Candle stuff (used to be a consultant). I'm just tired of this stuff taking up space in my already cluttered garage.

Does anyone have the excursion kit? Looks like a nice souvie for the trip...
I got the top post!!!! yippee for me!
See, now if we had that, I would be tempted to get rid of all the girls clothes that way. I already donated some of their clothes, and the brand-name stuff I've kept to eBay (Gymboree, Baby Gap, Disney, etc). I figure if I can just get a little for it, I'd be happy.Diana Lyn said:Sounds like fun Amy. I'm all ebay-ed out right now, sales were slow, bidders were low and the questions were driving me insane. I actually got an invite to a giant kids consignment sale the last week in August. Basically you take all your baby stuff, tag it with a price, drop it off and they send you a check after the sale. No selling, no advertising, no dealing with people (the part I can't stand) They take 30%, but when I thought about the time and shipping and ebay costs, I think I'll still come out ahead. Plus, the last day everything goes half price, so you can price high and the let it drop the last day if it doesn't sell. Then you have the option to donate anything that doesn't sell to charity--so it's pretty much win-win. I have SO much baby stuff that was too big to bother with on ebay. So that's my ongoing project!
I'm heading out to CKC in Valley Forge, PA after lunch. I'll hopefully be meeting some DISers who I've been swapping with all these years
too!I'll be back on Sunday. Then only a few weeks til my Disney scrap trip!!
I'm just a travelling fool lately!
Have a great weekend everyone!![]()
We use it a lot for little trips to Disney (and other places). Chris usually uses it for his clothes and I use one of the big canvas DVC tote bags that they gave us.WDWLVR said:Erin - are you talking about the small duffle bag that also has a water bottle? If so last Member Cruise DVC offered one (just like the one on the DCL website but blue with the DVC logo on it). We like it and have used it as a carry-on for our May trip and plan to use it for our road trip in October as well.

Have a GREAT weekend everyone! Don't post too much while I am away!
Diana Lyn said:You should see my "luggage" for this weekend trip I'm taking.I look like a Disney billboard. I have my rolling scrap tote, then my Castaway Club duffel for my clothes, my DVC "I know the secret" bag for more scrap stuff, and my mesh blue DVC bag that we got on SSMC03 for stuff to bring to classes and snacks. Of course, my DVC water bottle is packed as well.

Thanks for asking. He's doing well, but still is uncomfortable at times. He went back to work in the office yesterday, even though he could have worked from home the rest of the week (he claims he can't concentrate here, I don't understand why with a 2yr and almost 5yr old running around). By the end of yesterday, he was pretty tired and spent most of the evening laying on the couch.#1Mouse said:How has Chris been feeling?
Sure Julie - I'll send you a quick PM with what I have left in my garage. A lot of it is from several years ago, but most of it is brand new or just used in demos.chipscinderelly said:OOh Amy - let's talk about your Partylite stuff as I love it, don't have a consultant and had an item or two break in the move that if you have I'd love to "bid" on before you put it on ebay!
I haven't washed mine yet either, but my biggest concern would be the blue color running and shrinkage. If I ever tried to wash mine, I would put in one of those Shout color guard sheets in there (maybe 2) and I wouldn't put it in the dryer. Let us know how it comes out.chipscinderelly said:Has anyone washed their "I know the Secret" dvc tote bag? We use ours all the time and it's looking a bit dirty so I thought about throwing it in the washing machine ... but don't want to ruin it (not like I don't have 2 more but ya know).
Diana Lyn said:I just got finished bringing all the stuff down to the garage, so it's all staged for when Bruce gets home with the car. When you look at the pile, I'd say it's about 40% alcohol, 50% scrapbooking stuff and 10% clothes.....eh, maybe 45% alcohol and 5% clothes.![]()
If we were taking my Trailblazer, we'd be able to fit WAY more alcohol, but we're taking the BMW so we're limited in space!![]()
