Hey everyone! Sorry I missed chat tonight. I was busy watching TV and finishing up a scrapbook project.

Now, to talk about excursions and ressies. Chris wants to give a try to parasailing again, and I was thinking about taking Emily to do the stingray excursion.

I'm not sure about doing Palo this trip. We did dinner on SSMC05, but we ended up missing the Pirate Dinner (thankfully my tablemates brought me all my pirate goodies). We did get to do brunch on our impromptu 4-nighter in Feb, so I'm just not sure. I'm sure if I ask Chris, he'll want to do at least one meal there.

Don't think the ballet and mary janes are 'real' crocks, they are not on the crocs website. I haven't found any of the copies to be as soft and flexible as the real crocs.

Mary, the ballet crocs look cute. Not something for me in my wardrobe, but I could definately see those being casual shoes for work. I'm still on a hunt for the scutes. Maybe I'll find them in Hilton Head -- not that we do a lot of shopping but maybe. If not, I'm going to order them from crocs.com when I get home. Diana, did you find them any place?

I think the ballet crocs look cute, but most likely not on my giant and wide feet. :scared: I saw the Mary Janes today at Journeys and I'm not a fan. I have yet to find the scutes in a store. Today I looked in Dick's, Sports Authority and Journeys. All had crocs....none had Scutes. I want to order them, but I'm just not sure about the sizing. Cindy--what color are you thinking about?

The hardest decision for me is which of all the pairs I have am I going to bring on the cruise!! :lmao:

Just a reminder that tonight is cruise chat. Hope some of you can join us.

Sorry I missed chat. Jeff and I took a run out to the store to get any last minute items that we might need to go to my sisters today or for camp.
Plus we had to wash our uniform shirts since at camp you wear your Class A's (uniform shirt) to dinner.
So I think we are all set for camp on Sunday, just a few more things to thow in our packs and we'll be done!

Stacy, have a blast at camp!!!

I'm u early trying to check-in for our 5:30 a.m. flight tomorrow morning. Apparently, when they say 24 hours prior, they mean 24 hours prior. So, I have a couple of minutes to wait.

Then I'm going back to sleep. :)

Good morning everyone! Cindy who are you flying? I thought you only had to check in with SW 24 hours in advance to get the boarding group. You have a 5:30 am flight - yikes - what time are you leaving the house?

Stacy have fun at camp!

No big plans on this end. Laundry and house cleaning - oh joy!

I like the first ones. I could easily see wearing those to work.

I just showed DD the pictures............

Her comment......"What are they going to start making clothes now!"

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I hope not!

I know that people have claimed that they feet don't sweat in them..........Mine do! Even with all the holes!

My bad, apparently ballet and mary janes are REAL crocs just not on the website yet. I want the scutes too. I'm a 9.5 and not sure what to get either, the beach crocs I have seem to run a little big but they are older,
it seems there is new sizing out that is a little smaller. Not sure what to
do. Is Journeys a store...hmmmm I'll have to look for that.

Getting out of doing the Household chores today!

Going to See Brother Bear 2!

Will let you know if it is worth buying for the little kiddies! It apparently will be released for August 29th on DVD.

Have a Good One!

Hi y'all. We've got a busy week ahead. Besides all of Ian's activities (camp, Little Gym, swimming lesson), my nieces - 15yrs & 10yrs - are flying in today and staying for a week. I'm not sure what we'll be doing all week, but they do want to work on their scrapbooks. I feel I did my duty by getting them into this obsession about 5 years ago. :rotfl: Too bad my scraproom isn't finished yet.

We're flying AirTran. We fly to Atlanta and then fly from there to Savannah. It's hard to get a direct flight between Chicago & Savannah. We're flying out of Midway -- a first for us.

And, because it would have cost us almost $400 for a limo from our house to Midway round trip, we're driving and parking at the airport.

Does anyone has any experience parking at Midway? Steve, do you fly out of Midway? Tina? I hope it's simple because in the middle of the night, the last thing we need is to have a problem with parking. I guess we'd just have to leave Gary behind, as it's his car, not my van. :charac2:

Mine sweat in the beach style during the summer. So, I wear them with socks as much in the winter as I can without getting my feet wet.

The athen sandles (like flip flops) don't make my feet sweat and are very comfy.

I'm looking for the scutes -- they are open toed -- similar to slides. Diana, I have no idea what color I'm thinking of. It depends on whether I find them in a store someplace or if I have to order them. If I order, it will definately be more of a neutral color. If I find them in the store, I just might get a little more adventerous. :upsidedow

Oh Cindy be bold and get a bright color!!!
I still haven't crossed to the world of crocs but those Mary Janes and Ballet slippers do look cute.

Diana you mentioned Journeys yesterday....is there a store around us!? :confused3 If there is I'm not aware of it.

Journeys is in Crossgates downstairs right near Friendly's. Theres also one in Wilton Mall.

Cindy, you should go for the fuschia with orange footbeds! I'd totally get those but I don't wear enough fuschia to justify it!

:scared:

Do I look like fuschia is MY color?? Just because it's my color of choice when I post sometimes, does not mean I want it on my feet!

I'm thinking more of a neutral color. Going with the turquiose and cream colored athens was a huge step for me.

I really have done Crossgates in a while. Other then the theatres to see The Omen an Jc Penney's I haven't "walked" the mall in a bit.
I might have to check them out

The fushia and orange is cute! :cutie:
