:wave2: Hey all!
We finally were able to book our flight on Spirit. So I feel good that perhaps this "forever away" cruise may actually happen! :p
We are flying in on the 18th and of course checking out the 22. I think we will just use one on the limo car companies to get a towncar to take us to Port. Part of me wants the experience with the Disney Van, but DH thinks it may be too hectic. Plus the fact we read it does take you there little longer for Disney to actually get to the Port. I think he's right, it will be easier.

I'm sorry I haven't been posting a lot, but have any of you made plans before we sail out? I know I read that Disney planned a night at Downtown the night before right? I was hoping we would be able to take the DVC discount for MNSSHP but that is Tuesday, and we aren't going to come in till Wednesday.
Are most of you doing the MNSHp the 19 or 20th? Assuming 20 will be more busy being a weekend?!

Also, How long will it take from Disney Resorts to Port? Did I read 3 hours? Or was that by a bus(meaning slower?). Don't know what time we should leave Sunday morning.

Okay I'll shut up so you can answer my 20 questions! :rotfl:

So far no news from DVC on any pre-cruise festivities. Many of us are attending MNSSHP on 10-26-06. If you take a towncar it would take about an hour to get from your resort to the Port.

We're doing MNSSHP on the 26th also. And, I know that several people have made their ADRs at Liberty Tree Tavern before the party that night.

We're not driving over to WDW until Saturday morning, so not much planned for us that day. We're staying at BCV, so we'll probably spend the day in the pool with the girls. Then, if DVC doesn't plan anything, I know that there was some talk about a mini pre-cruise DIS meet in the Boardwalk area (since several are staying around there). Then, we'll probably just catch dinner around the area and make it an early night, so we can wake up and get to the port.

Cindy - it's SO good to see you back! I'm glad that you had a good time! However, leeches? YUCK!!!

Mary - it's good to see that you and Dana made it home safely!! Have fun at the movies!!!

Cindy - Glad to see you back from camping. Leeches :scared1: that's a bit icky for me. I'll stick with worms thanks!

MaryJ - Glad you and Dana are home safely!!

I'm itchin' to go somewhere! Luckily we are off to a long weekend in North Carolina in two weeks. We'll be just south east of Raleigh. I can't wait cause we have never been there before!

Well, I am back from my trip, it was great! My friend and I had a great girls weekend. It was incredibly hot there, but otherwise it was great.

I tried to catch up with the 5 or 6 pages I missed, and I think I'm about to do it, but if I miss anyone, I'm sorry!

Happy belated birthday, Jessica!
Great job on the art work, Nick!
Mark and Mary glad that your trip is going good!
WB Curt and Karen! I would love to meet with you guys in June!
Good luck on the PT, Amy!
Glad your camping trip was good Cindy, but leeches?? Yuck!!!
And lets see did I miss anyone??
Yep Squid, Sorry about the tornado, but glad that you are all safe!

I hope that you all have a wonderful Memorial Day!

I'm back from Boca Raton, had a great weekend.

Oh my, how could I have forgotten.

I found a place to purchase Diana's favorite adult beverage -- twisted tea. Right here a couple blocks from my house, next to the pet store which we are in weekly. They had all the varieties but I just purchased the regular flavor to start with.....Yummy and smooth! :drinking1 :drinking1 :drinking1

They went down really good with the warm weather yesterday. :thumbsup2

Are you talking about discounts for MNSSHP? The 26th has no disounts for DVC or AP's. Come join the rest of us! Should be fun! :rotfl: We are eating @ LTT @ 4:30 pm on the 26th.

I'm glad you found it! I got myself into a bit of trouble tonight with the Tea. I got a 12 pk because we were having friends over and well, there were 2 left and my friend swears she only drank 3. I'm feeling much better now though.

We had a really busy weekend, we were gone all day Saturday going for a ride on Thomas the Train through the Adirondacks, that was lots of fun. Sunday was all day outside, it was close to 90 here and we got lots done. Today we had a BBQ and spent the day in the POOL!!! Yup, summer is here in NY and we are swimming!!

M+M--glad your trip is going well.
Stacy--tell Nick great job on the art.
Cindy--you are so brave for camping!!
MaryJ--glad you had a great trip!

I'm sure I left things out, but I've been trying to keep up!

We're arriving at WDW late on 10/14 so we have tickets for MNSSHP on 10/16. :hmghost: And better yet, we got to take advantage of the DVC discount. We're going to be on an airplane/landing when most everyone else is planning to go, on the 26th.

I'm talking about room discounts for FL. residents.

Hi to all! We are back from Cancun! It was a geat week. I'm still trying to recover even that we got back on Saturday p.m. I'm going to read back a couple of pages if I can.

Good morning everyone - live from the Magic on its way to Costa Maya!

Had a wonderful day yesterday with a group brunch at Palo and then Formal Night. Full details in the live thread.

Didn't get to Ducky's presentation because of brunch but told him we'd be sure and go on Thursday. They held his presentation in the Walt Disney Theatre! I know of two DISers who won sketches.

This morning I got up early to do my mile on deck 4 and to catch the sunrise - though it appears a bit cloudy. Still a beautiful day.

Hope you all enjoyed your long weekend.

:surfweb: Morning Everyone

Hope all are well returning from the holiday break. As a veteran I thank all and I joined all in remembering the men and women who are still serving this country - wherever they may be and for those who gave all there was to give. (nuff said)

There you go Diana - Corrupting the masses - :sad2:
:lmao:

I agree Curt! Also, I didn't know that you were a veteran. Chris is too. He served in Iraq in the first Gulf War and also in Hungary/Bosnia/Croatia in 1996. I always try to make him feel special on Memorial Day and Veterans Day, since so many don't remember why we have these holidays.

Peer pressure at its best. :thumbsup2

Once I found the tea, all I could think about was having one. But, then it said drink chilled but by the time I was back to the campsite on Saturday, it had warmed up. So, I had to ice it and wait. I drank 1 on Saturday and then the rest on Sunday.

No wonder I slept so much better Sunday night than the other two nights. :teeth:

So, I really need to find these things. I'm going to have to head to ABC Liquor, since they typically have everything!!! If I can find them, I might just have to bring some onboard (if they aren't too heavy).
