Don't know if you guys saw this on the main cruise forum, but WalMart (Sorry Amy) has some excellent travel size items. Stopped there this morning and got a small size of the Downy Wrinkle Release and some single packets of Tide for use in the sink. Thought these would be great for swimsuits.

I need to get that small Wrinkle Release! You guys all know I can't live without that stuff and bring my giant bottle with me when I travel! :rotfl:

As for Jelly Belly's - my favorite combo is carmel corn and root beer. Mark likes to mix all the orange flavored ones together. Jelly Belly's are definately one of our WDW staples (and Disneyland too - just ask Todd and Cheryl who had to wait while I bought Mark a bag).:rotfl:

Ok M&M lovers, I've always wanted to go to Las Vegas to visit the M&M store. Well, I just found out on the M&M website that they just opened the Orlando store 16,000 sq feet at the Florida Mall. Sounds like I might have to go on a road trip to Orlando.

More info. please. Where is this Mall located? We were going to go to Vegas this summer, but are re-thinking it. DD wants to go to the M&M store very badly. We have a car rented for the October trip and would be able to drive to the M&M store there if we knew where it was. Where is the closest Disney Outlet Store? We have never been and that might be something for us to do as well.

No problem, you can get there 2 different ways. Take I-4 East and exit onto the Beeline (528 - the one that takes you to the port) and the get off on Orange Blossom Trail heading north. The mall is right there on the northeast side of the highway and OBT. Or, take I-4 East and exit Sand Lake Road (the next exit past the Beeline) and just head East for a few miles. The mall is on the southeast side of Sandlake and OBT.

Here's the link on the M&M website:

The information for Orlando is right under the Las Vegas store.

Thanks Amy! :woohoo:

We are definately going to have to plan to do circle journals for this years cruise. :cool1:

Not only because I think it's really cool but it gives those of us who live close together a great reason to make a point to get together. Mark & Mark are coming for a BBQ on Sunday so Mary can pass the books along to me. Two great reasons to get together. I can't wait to see the new books Mary has for me to work on (I'm thinking Cheryl's & Amy's). I love to see how everyone puts their ideas together!

Hey, maybe I'll make some of the asparagus wrapped in bacon -- I know that would be a favorite of Mary's. ;)

Single packets of Tide. What an awesome idea to have on hand, even for those items that I tend to wash alone or think to wash when there's nothing else to wash with them -- like right now, I have my library book bag soaking in the wash machine. Definately in need of a good washing and perfect item for a single packet of Tide!

I've noticed Target is carrying more and more of the travel size items too!

Amy thanks for the M&M store info. That would be fun to check that out on our next trip to WDW.

Hi everybody,

It's been a while since I posted last. I haven't had Internet access for about a month, since I posted about the move to Florida so that's why I haven't been around. I won't have home Internet until April 13th at the earliest, darn Verizon!

The move went well except a flat tire a little before Orlando. My dad came for the second driving trip and stayed the whole next week. I still have a lot of setting up to do at the apartment and I haven't been to Disney yet which is shocking to those who know me in NJ.

Congratulations and Happy Birthday/Anniversary to those I missed on the thread in the last month.

I haven't read all the pages except the last two or three so if anyone had any questions for me please PM me.

Voting for the front of shirt: I like option D the best.

I have a question for those Florida residents with annual passes:

Other than the monetarial savings, is it better to buy the annual pass as a Florida resident or as a DVC member? Meaning is there a difference on the pass itself where you get more off rooms/dining/perks that says "Florida Resident Annual Pass" as opposed to "DVC Annual Pass" or just "Annual Pass"? I am itching to go to WDW but have been waiting for the Florida resident discount and for when I will use the pass more (Star Wars weekends, Flower and Garden Festival). I am not a resident yet and do not have a Florida Driver's license yet so I don't qualify for that but I would gladly pay the extra $25-30 for the DVC annual pass so I can start going to the parks on weekends. If anyone knows that would be a big help.

For those looking for a washer/dryer, I just bought a set from Best Buy for a little over $600 delivered and setup. They are Inglis by Whirlpool and so far they have worked very well. It beats going to the laundry room in the apartment complex. Oh yeah, they are top loading. I would have loved to bought the front loader but needed to save money with the move.

One more thing, for return cruisers when can we make special dining/spa reservations on the ship? Also, can we make reservations for the sports club for Monday night? The Giants are playing the Cowboys and I want to make sure I can watch the game.

:wave2: Hi Jeff

We missed you the dinner Cheryl arranged last week at WC.

Mary, where do you find Jelly Belly's at WDW. We've stopped for M&M's on Main Street and now the big thing the kids want are the sugar sticks they get to fill themselves, but I don't recall seeing Jelly Belly's?? :scratchin

Should I tell you they make Jelly Belly's in Milwaukee and there is a factory tour you can go on? Free samples at the end. :thumbsup2

Sounds like a road trip is necessary! Hey we could all meet in Milwaukee and go on the Jelly Belly tour. :bounce:

M&M's a favorite in our house (gee I wonder why). Will definately have to get over to the Florida Mall. Did you see on the website where you can special order ones with messages on them. They'd be great for a DIS meet but very very espensive!

CJ's - I agree with Cindy that we need to do it for this cruise as well. I'm really having fun with them and seeing how everyone does their pages. Plus as Cindy said we now have a great excuse to get together. Yeah!

Jeff - nice to see you checking in. Hope you get settled quickly and can start enjoying WDW on a regular basis.

Jelly Belly's - we find them in the little candy store over in Frontierland in WDW. They have a great selection. Now as for getting them in Milwaukee - actually it is even closer. It is in Pleasant Prarie, WI which is just over the board (not fair from the Ren Faire). Yes we have taken the tour but it is very cheesy. You basically ride a tram around the warehouse and watch video sceens. :) But you do get a little sample bag free after the tour and of course they drop you off at the gift shop. :rotfl: They also sell bulk bags of jelly belly's that don't quick make the cut looks wise. They call them Belly Flops!

I forgot to mention one more thing about our trip. On Saturday, we joined my sister and her family (DH,DS) at their timeshare, Fairfield Bonnet Creek. We stayed there for two days before coming home. However, after we got home my sister called to say that they've been bitten by the DVC bug and are buying 170 points at SSR! This really surprised me because when she went with me on SSMC05, she didn't seem overly impressed by the DVC. :confused3 It's too late for her and SSMC06, but maybe she and her family will be able to enjoy another special event from DVC in years to come with us.

Belly Flops!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I find that hysterical! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

We've never done the tour, but it just might be worth it just to laugh over that. And, I have no doubt my kids could care less about the shape of them!

Come on down, Gail. We'll head up and it will be a great excuse for a meet!

Mary, glad to see you back! It warmed up quite a bit for you the last couple of days. I hope Ken is on the mend, Gary enjoyed talking with him. The DVC bug can be very exciting when it bites. If she's interested in this cruise, maybe she can waitlist to see if that pans out for her.

:teeth: Mary J, My sister-in -law told me DVC wasn't for them! They ended up buying 6 months to the day she told me that! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: The DVC bug bites hard.

Hey you know if you all get together for a tour I'll be happy to go again. Plus Mark didn't go on it. I was with a group of girls from work. We were actually going to a Stampin Up party at someones house who lived up that way. One thing I forgot to mention about the tour - all through the warehouse are large pictures made out of Jelly Belly's - that was pretty cool. The only disappointing thing is that you really don't see production except on tv.

Mary - I agree with Cindy (what a surprise). See if you sister can waitlist for the cruise. It might still come through for her as people have to cancel to do family obligations etc.

But Passover, though an enjoyable holiday filled with traditions, is rather limiting when it comes to food. No bread, no rice, no pasta.

Interestingly enough, being Spehardic, I grew up being able to eat rice and corn, things that East European Jews will not eat. We don't anymore in respect to my sister's family.

If you all want to get a laugh, check out this item on ebay. Jews have to rid their house of all items (chametz) not allowed on Passover. Since it's impractical to truly get rid of everything, they sell it to a non-Jew for the eight days and then buy it back at the end. This person took it one step farther.
