First let me preface this by saying Ron is a government employee and I love telling this one (at his expense):

A government employee sits in his office and out of boredom, decides to see what's in his old filing cabinet. He pokes through the contents and comes across an old brass lamp.

"This will look nice on my mantlepiece," he decides, and takes it home with him.

While polishing the lamp, a genie appears.

"For setting me free, I am granting you three wishes. So tell me what are they?" Genie asks.

"I wish for an ice cold beer right now!"

He gets his beer and drinks it. Now that he can think more clearly, he states his second wish.

"I wish to be on an island where beautiful young girls reside."

Suddenly he is on an island with gorgeous females eyeing him lustfully.

He tells the genie his third and last wish, "I wish I'd never have to work ever again."

POOF!

He's back in his government office.

Hi my friends!

It has literally been a couple of months since I've been here at disboards so haven't caught up on the thread yet. Just wanted to give you all a Paula update.

She's currently at home in Jamaica but leaving early August for a new job. Yep, no more DCL. Instead, she has signed a contract with Royal Caribbean and Rhapsody of the Sea out of Galveston. She'll get to be with her DH so that's the good news!

I am currently trying to talk James into a new, different cruise!

Hope all is well with everyone? If there is anything I should really know right away, feel free to fill me in!

Celeste! I thought of you a few weeks back when we were in NYC for the Pirates Event. We didn't eat "dinner" a.k.a. appetizers until 8:00 so I had a Black + White cookie to tide me over. I thought about mailing one to you, but... I ate it!!!

(I am kidding about eating yours!)

I wasn't sure if it would still be good when it reached you.

Hope you are well with your busy work and that your scuba diving certification is coming along well too.

Okay...Leslie totally twisted my arm and I am now joining Leslie on the 11 night Southern Caribbean cruise....looks like it will be a fun cruise...planning another Jammie Breakfast....in just 2 days have 50 people signed up!!!!!

Long time to post and be on the DIS. We've been caught up in work and life. We haven't been on vacation since the Repo last year. I actually have only made 2 day trips up to WDW this year. It's been to hot and belive it or not I've been WDW'd out. Not Disney'd out since we are going to DL in October. We'll be in California from October 11th to 26th, at DL from the 19th to 26th. We're finally using our DVC points to stay at CG and a B&B in San Fran.
I've been knitting like a fool! Turns out I'm kinda good at it. I've run into Catherine a bunch and Amy, but haven't seen anyone else.
Jeff is good, still at Monorails, but with the crap management is shoving around we're not sure for how much longer. At least until DL for sure since he's our passes in.
We do want to go to the Vineyard Room at DL if anyone wants to join us.
Other than that, it's status quo...

You will love the GC! What B&B in SF??? We used DVC to stay at the White Swan Inn and LOVED it!
I look for Jeff all the time when we are up there, but have not seen him yet. Guess we always miss him. Someday.......

Yeah... I really had to twist your arm for all of a nanosecond Elaine.. Come on Debbie... you don't want to miss all the fun! How about Georgie and Joe... forget the Jersey shore... save the time and $$$ and come on the cruise with us!

How funny! We're staying at the White Swan, it was either that or the Fairmont. The full breakfast in the morning was the selling point for the White Swan. Glad to hear you liked it!
