Have you seen the commercials for the Hard Rock.....I love them!!!

The buttoned down guy with the tattoos showing through the back of his white shirt, or the guy reading to his kids and you can see tattoos on his ankles.....

We're deprived here in Canada...no Hard Rock commericals here....sounds pretty funny though!!!!!!!

We have decided not to go on the Med Cruises either for various reasons.Although we would love to meet up with all you guys.i am sure we will ,either when you come to London,or at WDW or on another cruise.
It doesnt seem to have quite the same excitement for us as the Panama repo,and the pricing seems v high.

Peter and Jenn when are you coming to London ,would love to see you.

Renae ,get Eric to have those waffles ready for July.

Elaine we are thinking in summer 2007 we may go to Canada,and then on to WDW.

Today is the Boat race between Cambridge University and Oxford.As our son GAry goes to Cambridge,we are hoping they win.

Georgie, Amy isn't a coaster rider either but for some reason, rides the Disney coasters. My coaster buddy needs to grow about 30 inches and age a few years!

I hope you try it and enjoy it! Who knows, maybe you'll get hooked and want to spend every weekend at Great Adventure riding those big coasters!

Celeste, I've racked up most of my miles lately because I brought our exercise bike into the living room to use at night. I manage to get on it 3-4 times a week for an hour while we watch TV. That's good for about 20 miles each time. I'll probably be stuck in Alabama at this rate rather than making it to Orlando unless I average another three miles a day or so.

I haven't done the treadmill since Emma was born but I still try to walk a lot at work. Amy has even met me at work a few times and we go for walks together with the stroller.

Will probably be booking into the June 27 '07 Med cruise on Tuesday. No way I'd do the transatlantic. Six days in a row at sea? No thanks. Not unless they're having all day wine tastings every day. With the 10 day I'm throwing in a couple nights at Disneyland Paris using DVC points. Also keeping an eye out for cheaper itineraries on other lines.

Scott and Lynn, still going to WDW for Halloween? I am still interested in trying out the MNSSHP. Best night Sunday, Oct. 29. Maybe Monday if they offer it then.

Oh come on Celeste....get the tattoo...it really doesn't hurt much and just takes a little bit of research to find a tattoo parlour that you trust....the one that did all 3 of my tattoos is so clean and they answered any and all questions you have and the first time I went for my tattoo he showed me the clean package of needles etc before he started my tattoo....you could always come to visit and you could get your tattoo where I got mine...I mean it's only a 9 hour drive!!!!!!!

Mom and I have also discussed the Med cruises and we too are going to pass...the price is just too much for us....I will live the cruise vicariously (sp?) thru the live thread.....

Celeste, I've always wanted to go to CKU.....maybe we should plan on a Dis CKU in 2007....we could get Tracy, Leslie, and Renae to join us somewhere at a CKU and make it a DisCKU.....we could dress "Disney" and be the hit (or freaks!) of the CKU...maybe we'll be lucky in 2007 and there will be a CKU in Orlando then we would be able to combine our 2 loves....Disney and Scrapbooking!!!!!!

I have not been to my local scrapbook store to see the new stuff....I'm trying to be good and stay away from the scrapbook store until I NEED supplies....but now maybe I'll have to make a trip.....

I want to come to the Dis CKU in 2007! That would be fun. (Not that we'd get much scrapbooking done!)

So this morning I am reading the Sunday paper and thinking of all the money I've saved for the last year and a half since the Disney Store closed here in Salt Lake.



Anyway, as I am reading through the arts section there is this ad that says AMS Warehouse Presents......Disney's Character Warehouse........Grand Opening April 1, 2006 at our mall. Ad says that have 50th anniversary merchandise.

Needless to say, Jamie and I headed down at 12 noon when the mall opened. $100 later I had a whole bag of new Disney stuff!

They will be here for 2 months. Said that they will have a truck with new stuff in 2 weeks! I marked my calendar. Will hit the store as soon as I get back from WDW.

Needless to say, so much for saving money. I'm sure I'll be in there every week between now and when they leave!

We arrive 10/27 after an all night flight. 10/30 is an offered date, nadda on 10/29.

Linda that sounds pretty neet, but not thrifty, wish we were closer.

Gee, I'd like to come for that!!! Does the Spaghetti Factory in SLC have all the antiques like the one in Denver? I love to go just to look around!!! Lots of old victorian lamps and beds!!!
