Alex, I got ya on the list.

I am worried if we get to big of a group and swim out there the DCL folks might think we are jumping ship. :)

Hey Guess what?

I was talking to DCL yesterday and they informed me that cast members were putting the final touches on a new show. Thats all they said. I was asking about when the excursions would be listed on the web site and about possible upgrades. Kind of got the impression it might be for us. Any thoughts or other info?

Really, I was thinking more along the line of Walker Texas Ranger, but in your case it would be Scott Wyoming Wranger or something like that.

Oh yea, Tully Mars......I got to get back to that book. Short attention span!

Linda: you can sign up and weigh in at Discoveryhealth.com
Discovery Health :: Homepage (hope the link works)

It's called the National Body Challenge... but it closes at midnight tomorrow (1/20) Once you sign up online (free) you go to the "gifts" and print out the certificate for Ballys. Take the certificate to the club and you get an 8 week trial membership for free. You can sign up Robert too just use a different email etc. Good luck!! It started Jan 15 and runs until March 12. Joe and I have been going every day. :earseek:

regarding the card playing... Joe loves to play Eucher (sp?) He taught me to play but for me cards is something to keep my hands busy while I talk... LOL
Serious card players do not tolerate that well I'm told.... I'm always asking what is trump...LOL:blush: So if anyone wants to play non-serious eucher... we're in... :cheer2:

I like board games... I don't have to concentrate as much.... http://www.disboards.com/misc.php?do=getsmilies&wysiwyg=1&forumid=0#

I like to play spades or hearts ....

Oh and I think cocker spaniels are Better.. Than any other breed LOL

Hi everyone! Wow! Keeping up with this list is like a 2nd job!!! :faint: Lol!! I’ve got a few things to say, so here goes!!

1) Thank you SO much, Jeff (and Jen), for all your work! The site looks great! I’m enjoying going through all the pics, they are all great! I must say, however, Michelle (nem) that pic is awesome! What was the occasion, or do you all always dress like that in So Cal?!?!?!? :earseek: ;-) I’ll work on getting a pic to Jeff soon.

2) Kara, we’d love to get on the Tag list. And I vow to run down to steerage every time I get it. Hee hee hee! :wave2:

3) On the subject of tuxes, I’m all for it, but Keith scowled and started pouting. He does have a nice western cut suit that he’s been wearing. (No. Not a Porter Wagoner suit!! :earseek: TRUST ME!!) Also, I had a customer tell me he’d just bought a tux from the local formal wear store, and it only cost $100. I don’t know any details, but it seemed like a good deal!

4) Keith’s Mom and I have formal dresses that we’ve worn before, but I may have to look for another for her. I’ve got a couple that I haven’t worn because January was just too cold to wear sleeveless. I, too, don’t get a chance to dress up at home, so these cruises are my only chance. I’m a telephone/DSL tech, and live in jeans, so any time I get to dress like a girl, I’m all over it! :cloud9:

5) SandraLee, I’ll let you know when I turn back our extra cabins. Just waiting for one more person to SWEAR they can’t go and then I’ll be consolidating our people and moving deposits to cabins we’ll be using. Cat 6 rooms 6122 and 6152, also cat 11 rooms 6141 and 6145 should be going back, too.

SInce this is such a dog-friendly group - I thought I'd just post that my first Baby - a 10 1/2 year old "petite" Rottie ( 91 lbs ) named Sobaka just got a clean bill of health today (clean for a geriatric old gal) - We've been quite worried since a REALLY bad blood test result a couple weeks ago - but after ultrasounds, xrays, and more blood work - seems it was just side effects from some prednisone she had taken for a fire-ant incident more than month before...........I've re-nicknamed her my "little money pit" - but she doesn't seem to care as long as she gets extra yummies, tummy rubs and can sleep on the bed when noone is looking........Jill

Wow, I don't think I've posted anything on this thread since May! I feel so disconnected! :guilty:

I cannot tell you how excited my family is for this cruise! We are each on a quest to lose weight by May 14th... we'll see how that one turns out. I will turn 19 on May 25 (during the cruise :bday: Yay! hehe) and I figure.. this is a once in a lifetime opportunity! There is no way I'm going to have a birthday on a cruise that is sailing through the Panama Canal without being in shape! :hyper:

My father and I have a countdown tradition - he will call me at school and ask me how many days until the cruise. It's nice because I get to daydream about it for a few minutes, then realize I'm in Pennsylania . It surprisingly makes time fly, try it!

I am worried because exams are the week before the cruise. Hopefully I won't have an exam on Friday because our flight is that morning! I hope my professors will understand! And my brother's college graduation is the day we set sail! He says he much rather cruise then sit in the hot sun for hours... I can't say I blame him..

Which address should a send a picture of my family?? It's been kinda crazy around here lately so I haven't had a chance to get it in.

Don't worry everyone... these next few months will fly by! Can't wait to meet all of you!!!!!!!!! :earboy2: (sorry this post is so long... I'm just so excited!!)

P.S. Speaking of dogs, our Lab/Rottweiler mix passed away on Sunday. He was a great dog and he will be missed :( . We also have 2 basset hounds

LinnyLye,
Sorry to hear about your dog... :worried: That is such a difficult thing!

I haven't cruised before, but I am worried not about the weight I need to lose before the cruise but the weight I will gain ON the cruise. :flower1: I love to eat and all the delicious food will be too tempting!

Laurie

LOL....Thanks Kelli. We think it is pretty good too. It does not hurt to have very photogenic little girls. Actually my sister makes the tutus and other boutiquey stuff as a part of her business and we snapped this one when we were taking pics for her sales brochure and website. It came out great - and I am not prejudiced at all (sarcasm intended).

Though I will say that at one time or another, you would find each of them dressed that way to go to the cleaners or the grocery store. We figure - you only live once!!! Might as well make the most of it...tutus and all...

In keeping with the theme - no dogs here, but I did grow up around Labs (black and yellow) and they are my fav...

Michelle (aka NEM)

Count us in for tag too...

Great news on the tux...only $85 for two weeks? Then I could be a slug and just not buy one and rent again...love to be lazy, plus then I can rent the shoes too. Hate having shoes just for the tux.
