Now to research them. I used a variety of other cruiselines sites to get info on some of them. Hopefully we will get a full list from DCL soon.

We are going to probably book directly with DCL for the reasons Kara stated. I do not want to be left behind at the dock!!

kaylin . . . I am interested in the horseback riding, too. What did she say about experience? I can't remember the last time I was on a horse. My DD hasn't been on one unless it was tied to a circle ring for a walk!

My DD is 6 and would love this, but I am a bit worried she is too small. How much control will she need to do it herself?

Not sure if DH and DS9 would like to go.

How old was your DD? I forgot.

Sandra, from the posts I have read on cruise critic, Randi is very caring, especially for inexperienced child riders, and matches the horses for the riders. I am far from experienced, haven't rode a horse since the 60's, and got on one Feb. 04 in Grand Cayman. Rode on the beach and had a blast.

I am going on the horseback riding Robin! She just e-mailed me back and said there is no age limit, and the youngest that they have taken has been 3yo. They tied her horse to another, but she had a great time. I just have to figure out the date we will be there so I can reserve some spots. If anyone else wants to go, you can reserve a spot right on the website, or let me know & I'll include your names when I do mine!

I will let you know for sure next week Kim! I emailed the list of excursions to DD, and mentioned about Randi's. I am going down to Tallahassee on Thursday for my pre-construction meeting, and will be discussing the excursions with Aimee while there.

Jen, I like the pirate theme sailaway party idea, but if it ends up being too much, at the very least, we should keep the kingdom to kingdom t-shirt idea and maybe bubbles! I'm going to peruse the online party stores for ideas, do know when Jeff is going to have the site up so we can get a better idea of how many will be joining us?

Elaine, I had read one of your posts a while back where you mentioned what the Josh was for, but yes I love Josh Groban! Not sure if I am really a Grobanite, but close........About a month or so ago, tickets went on sale here for one single concert at one of the casinos here in Connecticut. I was online, and on the phone right at 10:00, it took 10 minutes to get my request in online, and was already sold out! You would think if he is so popular, they would have more than one show. Oh well, some day.........

Peter, good luck getting the tickets, if you go I will be jealous! LOL Jen is lucky to have such a thoughtful husband. After taking 3 weeks for this cruise, and already 2 booked long weekends down to Tallahassee, my vacation time left for this year is minimal.

Is it possible to book in advance Palo or a massage. Last cruise we took we had to do this all after we boarded the ship so it would be much more relaxing to do this in advance.

I believe it is only CAT 3 and above that get to pre-book these. Last February, a dis'er in CAT 3 was able to get our Palo reservations in advance. That was nice not having to "do the ressie rush"

Actually I just found out, very much to my surprise, that I can do my PT test on 6/22. So you will see me a bunch on deck 4 and hitting the iron in the gym.
