Just think.............we could be the FIRST to do a sleepout on the Wonder before it goes through the canal!



I'll bug them on the Wonder when we board for the DVC owners cruise on September 4th.

OK Guys, how is everyone’s training programme’s going.

I am kicking mine up a notch with as have a PT test on Sept 1, would like to drop 10 lbs and get my run time under 12 min. Took the malamutes for a nice run this AM.

I think I will try emailing him this weekend...after I finish my LONG week of work and school. I think my plea will go something like this:
I go work full time in a neurosurgical intensive care unit and attend graduate school full time. My family and I enjoy spending the scant of time we have together at Disney, especially on the cruiseline. With my schedule for school and work, it is difficult for me to get time off. I literally planned my school schedule around the May Panama Canal Cruise to allow both school and vacation to occur together- especially as I am required to attend classes year round. While I am not asking for tentative schedules, I was wondering if you could please tell me approximately when the 2007 schedule will be released.

Something like that, but better written after I have slept....
I almost cried when my supervisor let me go home early today...it is REALLY hard to work full time and do school at the sametime. I must be smoking crack or something.

YES, I am a chicken.
You didn't call him, did you? I only spoke to him once, so I would feel funny calling. I don't think he would remember me- it wasn't a really memorable conversation. Yes, I know I would be more likely to get an answer if I called- but I hate to be intrusive. Yes Celeste this thread....there are some very lucky Panamains out there with some Kingdom to kingdom Pins..


Everybody else I Just Made up the Stuff about the Wonder But it kind of only makes sence , when you think about it .. why not take the Wonder out in 07
and try some 3 or 4 night trips or even some more 7 night trips.

I didn't know you stayed at the Grand Califorian- how was it- do tell. We are thinking of going staying there next summer.

Today I learned that the first clinical nurse specialist program was based out of BC- something I learned today doing my research for my next paper.

There my Canadian fact for today. Oh Wait...here is another- one I learned last week...

Canadian geese are not really called Canadain geese- they should be called Canada geese. The person who told me this also said they were named after a person and not the country- but I cannot identify that to be true- but the name part is. What do you say Elaine- being from Canada.




So- if they watch this board don't you think they should get themselves a screen name and participate? Like we would know who they were....they could tell us stuff and we wouldn't know where it came from.

I'm feeling much better now- it is amazing how a 20 minute nap and dinner makes the world look brighter.

Celeste...in one word...FAB-U-LOUS!!!!! We loved this Resort and with your own entrance to DCA it was great!!!!! We really liked how close the Resort was and we were able to walk back to the room in the middle of the afternoon for a rest.

Our room overlooked DD and DCA's Soarin'. We were able to watch the DL fireworks each night from our balcony...My pictures of the Resort and our room are in my album on Tony's site.

If you have any specific questions, I'll try to answer them, just don't ask me about the pool, just like the cruise, never got in it, too busy I guess

Okay...one is called a Canada Goose and a flock (or gaggle) is called Canada Geese...many people call then Canadian Geese. About the origin of the name...you stumped me on that one...I was taught that they were native birds to Canada, hence the name.

By the way, I should add that the first nurse practitioner was based out of Baltimore- if I am remembering correctly. I don't think we have anyone from MD- and I will be a critical care nurse practitioner. I don't to confuse people thinking I have changed by field of study- for those of you who knew what I was studying.

Hi all!!

It's been a LONG time since I have posted on this thread ... but I have been lurking!!

I just wanted to share that our family was invited to represent Make A Wish at the Disney Cruise Line gala Evening of Magic last Saturday onboard the Magic, since my daughter is a Make A Wish ambassador (she speaks at local high schools and community events when a Wish Kid is requested) It was so incredible to be onboard again even for a short while, but it just made me miss the ship more!! We are rebooked for next year September, but that seems so far away!!

We had 4 hours of a "cruise experience" starting with the boarding, followed by the (awesome shrimp and sushi) buffet in Parrot Cay, to my Bahama Mamas on the 9th deck, to the show (Twice Charmed), to DJ Pike and Karen and Dazzler and the photo staff remembering us and welcoming us back on board.

The girls had a blast with meeting Raven and Ming-Na (Mulan) and Christy Romano (voice of Kim Possible) among others I did not recognize. My son spent a lot of time at the dessert buffet (must have eaten a dozen chocolate covered strawberries) and was overjoyed to find that the Arcade was open and all games were free!!

Now all I can think of is getting back on board as soon as possible!!

Anyone want to go in on some Lotto tickets so we can all go back thru the Canal in August?

A big thank you to everyone for making the Panama Canal crossing so memorable.
