Glad everyone in the UK is ok....
Jeff and I are still here, I'm knitting up a storm, up to 3 projects, one almost done, one 2/3rds done and one I just started.... the yarn addiction is what's getting me...

Hey all... Just wanted to say hi and glad to hear all from Uk are fine. What an awful day for lots of people. Hugs and prayers to all!!

Thoughts are also going out to you all in FL with the Season Upon you.

Hey Jen how is Jeff taking being an old guy???

Deep in denial....

Glad to hear everyone of our DIS family is safe and sound. Our prayers go out to all the families affected by this tragedy.

Hi all from a rainy NJ :umbrella:

Our thoughts go out to Florida as they deal with the arrival of a hurricane (once again).

Toe update: Walking without a limp! :Pinkbounc

Arm update: X-ray shower no broken bones! :Pinkbounc After reading about tendonitis... and seeing drwaings of the upper arm and the location of the tendons... I'm convinced that's what it is. I can lift my arm a bit now, so I know it's healing! Doctor wanted me to go to an Orthopedic Group for a cortizone shot... don't think I want to do that... We'll see

Work update: Things have gotten really tough. Am thinking of taking an extended leave just to get thoughts back together. I really want to pull our house together (inside is a total unorganized mess)

Hello to all. It's been great keeping in touch with snippets on this thread. :wave2:

Oh Georgie....you have good and bad news. I'm happy to hear about your toe and arm. FYI/ I had something similar with my arm. I think mine was caused by extended use of the computer mouse.

I'm sorry to hear about work, but it sounds like you are doing the right thing. While your gone, I'm sure they will realize just how valuable you are and things will get better when you return.

I'm on pins and needles with this hurricane, now that I have an actual building sitting down there now. Hopefully landfall will be gentle and will only get the rains we are having here in the northeast today.

Have a great weekend everyone!
Robin

Robin,

I'll be talking to my son Ben and Sicili over the weekend and I'll let you know what they say about damage to areas of the city.

Good luck to all, and, as they said last year... batten down the hatches!

Hi everyone

Just received a call from the Captain on the Bridge. I will be blowing the Wonder's horn tonight, as we leave Nassau. We have to meet him right after 7 p.m. Too exciting. DH will be allowed to go also.

Very windy here in Nassau - we didn't get off the ship. Just relaxing for the day.

Hi Kay!
Super excited for you....I got home last night around 1am (weather delay)and was suppose to work today- lucky me, I got a census day. I am watching Robb sleep on the sofa- as I sit on the love seat. (They got home this morning around 11am) I just got done reading the posts...I will put the pictures on later today.

The meet with Renae, Eric, Harry, and Kay was so much fun! My stepson said it was one of his favorite things we did on our mini trip.

Glad to hear everyone in London is okay- I didn't even hear anything about it until I got to the airport.....nothing in Disney. I'm glad my parents are living back in the States- as until recently they lived outside London in Harlow.

We are already excited for our trip in October, and planning for next year. I would really like to hit WDW in December- but October, December, AND January seems a little excessive.

Hope everyone has a great day...I'll post photos later.

Where is the link to Lesley's photos from her trip?

Thanks, Linda. I already told Harry he couldn't take his time "focusing" and such. Snap that picture. LOL He just looked at me.

Lesley, KEWL pictures looks like a great trip thanks for sharing.

WOW... Lesley.. great pictures. What an adventure that must have been.

Kay: Congrats! Have a great time blowing the horn! Hope you don't hit too much rough weather because of Dennis! Have a great time and enjoy the trip Think of me if you happen upon any great pins... but not if you have to sleep in the hall!! :o)

Celeste,

I'm glad you got home ok, by tomorrow the wind will be picking up and might have made Rob and the boys get home late. Tell Alex we really enjoyed meeting him! Eric sure likes Noah. I think he reminds Eric of our boys when they were little.

Kay, if the captain says anything about keeping you out there an extra day, let us know, ok? It's gonna be stormy here on Sunday even if Dennis stays out to the west. I know that would be the 'worst' thing that could happen to you on your trip,lol...

Thanks so much Renae! Even though technically it's not mine yet, I would hate to have delays due to repair or god forbid rebuilding! I am getting more than anxious now that we are down to only 2 more months!

I was watching the path of where Dennis had been and thinking that over a month ago we were in those waters!

Just amazing.

Here is a pic of Cuba on May 16 to remember those there:
