Scott: What a beautiful puppy. Geez, if I had room, I'd have many more in my home.

Wanna bet?? :teeth:

Shari and Ken, congratulations to Staci! This is such an exciting time in their lives! :flower:

I think that we killed what was left of Bob Saget's career. Gary found an ad for the local Comedy Club. Yes, Bob Saget is performing at the Bananas Comedy Club in the Best Western in Poughkeepsie this weekend. Having heard the "Danny Tanner isn't Gay" song already, I think that we'll take a pass on this one. :rolleyes1

Arrrggh....thanks for bringing that back....LOL... I had blessedly forgotten that fine bit of family comedy.....all of a sudden it all came rushing back....now I have to forget again!!! LOL....man he was pretty bad, huh?

I thought Bob Saget was pretty good... in 'America's funniest', that is. Onboard, he was just awful. Really sad when the funniest thing a comedian can say is how bad his TV show was.

Scott + Lynn! Great picture! That looks like fun! Does your puppy ever want to roam off the road while in training! What an adventure!

Regina! Loved your "wanna bet?" comments :rotfl2:

My foot is starting to feel better, but will have that splint on for 2-4 more weeks! Looks like I need to finish up that PC laundry this weekend! :rotfl:

Could it be a Nutria?

The ones we have here have wider tails than this picture shows.

Looks kind of like that- more like what we have than anything else I have seen. But the Nutria only lives in the coastal regions- as I do not.

HMMM???
This is driving Robb and I crazy.
It's the round lake monster!

Okay....I think I might be the only one but I actually enjoyed Bob Saget's show....you know it could be the fact that he talked to me :) but I think it's because when I was growing up (I know dating myself) I watched full house all the time so being able to see someone you watched on tv is cool. Another reason might be because being in Canada the chances of us having a celebrity sighting is pretty slim!!!!!! I did find at times that his material wasn't really family oriented but you could tell he hadn't prepared anything before hand.

Besides talking to Bob, I think the highlight of the show was the Muppet movie and Kermit. I also like the Rainbow Connection.

Although this isn't popular to say to say- I didn't hate the Bob Saget show. It wasn't family friendly, but my little one didn't understand....

I honestly didn't mind Bob Saget's show. It had its moments and was a big improvement over the Bumblesquats.

I just think that going straight from our cruise to the Poughkeepsie, NY Best Western is not a good sign. Trust me on this, I live here.

Yes, we killed what small remnant of a career that poor Bob had left. Gary and I would go, but I don't want him to start yelling "it's your fault" if we mention the Magic appearance.

Etta told EVERYbody what a great show it was...so at least you have one kindred spirit, Elaine!! Whenever anyone (her brother, his wife, his daughter, Keith's sis) asked how she liked the trip, she'd say "I saw Bob Sagat, he was really funny!" About the time he got to the "poop" and "butt" portion of his show, I decided to leave....I just didn't find it funny, and a rest was much better for me.

I don't know which one I'd rather see, Bob Saget or the nutria...

Peter, if the august people want to use the logo that's okay with me, I am after all a former August cruise reservation holder...I don't know how to set up the cafepress thing though.

Hi everyone! :wave2:

I'm home and missing the ship, and everyone on it, especially all my DISboard friends, and most especially Harry in Michigan, more than I can say.

Work is a rude awakening after being on a 14 night cruise! As Elaine said, TGIF!

Harry and I liked the Bumblesquats. What that says about us I'm not sure! Harry actually got picked on by them -- but no one seems to have been there for the first show to see it. Did you all hear they were no good ahead of time and just decide not to go?

We also liked Bob Saget ok, but we really enjoyed the Muppets, and the CMs singing "Rainbow Connection". Overall, we really enjoyed the show.

A reunion cruise sounds good to me! Especially if it's to another destination, like Alaska, Spain, or the Baltics. I'm pretty sure Harry would agree. We have lots of future travel plans, so the sooner we know when and where, the better.

Thanks to all for the many wonderful gifts and all the good times on the ship and off. For those brave Bounty rope-swingers, Harry is sending me a CD with all his pix and I will forward individual pix as appropriate!

Leslie, mend quick!

Regina,

I thought you were kidding about the Best Western, but I guess not?! Wow! That is quite a change...The Magic to The Best Western!
