We are starting to plan a return trip to Tanzania for Jan/Feb of 2007. My thoughts at this time would be to do only the repo portion. This is would also be the year we pull the pin and retire. so it would make a nice retirement present. We will see what they announce. Wonder what the dates would be?

HI EVERYONE!!! :wave2: WE ARE SAVING OUR PENNIES FOR 2007!!! We both have carried over 4 weeks of vacation this year (from years past), so time wouldn't be an issue. The $ is another thing! ;) Leslie... we will celebrate your milestone b'day with you! Wouldn't it be great to have the Table 12 together again... along with our Table 9 neighbors!

Debbie - GREAT pictures. I makes me want to see EVERYONE we cruised with through PC AGAIN!

I'm busy today getting favors together for the Manager's Holiday lunch this Friday. I really need to get our stuff done!

Hey, I should start making the Luggage tags for the First Disney Transatlantic Cruise in 2007!!! :bounce:

We'll need to stay by our phones the morning DCL starts taking calls!!!

I myself- would like to do both. I don't know if that is economically possible- but what the heck! I would LOVE to do the transatlantic- I agree sea days are great and I would love to see the ports also. I would have a hard time picking between the two....

If I keep on getting cancelled here at work- I won't be doing any cruises!

However, I would consider working more hours at my old job to earn the money for the killer 2007 cruises and taking a quarter off from grad school!

Leslie,

We can celebrate together!!!! It will be the big one for Eric and I too.... so we have even more reasons to do BOTH!!!!!!

Okay Georgie...just don't leave the laminator in the bathroom where you'll trip over it and kill your toe again!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

You know, I was thinking the same thing when I wrote the post about the tags! I can't even find the laminator now! After I hit it with my toe, Joe probably picked it up off the floor and threw it out! :rotfl:

I for one LOVE sea days and wouldn't mind at all if we didn't stop anywhere.

Is that because there aren't too many horses to ride on sea days?!?!?!? :rotfl2:

Sorry, I just HAD to say that, after seeing you ask Georgie about her laminator......

Hi, Leslie!!!!!! :teeth:

Celeste,

Did you hear me scream????? Marseille! Man, oh Man I wanna go!!!!!

Renae

Was that what it was?

I attempted to sign up for CKU-A tonight as registration opened at 7pm- 3 hours later it was sold out and I got wait listed....oh well- more money to save for the cruises. (unless I get in)

Celeste,

A lot of people on the waitlist get in, but they do it by going on the CKU board and asking and checking to see if someone posts that they need to get rid of their ticket. As a last resort, you can volunteer to help with the classes and get to see some of them, at least. The teachers are good about giving extra goodies from the classes to the volunteers. You see the same class several times in a day, but I'd do it if I didn't get in. I sure hope you do, though!!!!!!

Hi everybody!!!!!!

Celeste...I was thinking about signing up for the CKU-A since it is being held on my birthday weekend but I decided to put the money towards our 2007 DCL Mediterranean Cruise Fund instead. I wish I would have known you were planning to attend...I want to attend a CKU so badly but I guess I'll have to wait until they go back to Orlando and then I can combine a trip to WDW with my scrapbook obsession!!!!!! Renae said she had a blast so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will go back to Orlando soon.

Hi, Leslie!!!!!! :teeth:

 Hi Kelli!!!
HA HA HA :rotfl2: Yes, SEA DAYS = NO INJURIES :rotfl2: Unless of course I attend too many martini tastings and stagger into something...... but I'll take my chances on that instead of a horse from now on!:drinking1

Okay everyone... took my current stash of rolled coins in and officially started my 2007 Cruise Fund! :boat: Couldn't believe I had $214 worth of rolled coins!! ::yes:: Yeah.. I know.. that probably won't even pay the Rainforest Room tab........but it's a START! pirate:

Leslie,

Good for you!!! That's quite a chunk of change to have saved!!! Keep at it and maybe you can get a suite....

Does anyone know yet when the official word will be coming for when they open up the reservations? I want to be online that day...

Got 3 more varieties of cookies made today... almond shortbread dipped halfway in chocolate, oatmeal chunk with raisins, almonds, and craisins... Tomorrow we're going to do something else new that I just got the recipe for... It's almost time to party, and Eric's dad is here for 3 weeks, so I'm kickin' it into high gear!!!

Here's hoping you are having fun getting ready,
see ya,
Renae

The info I received was from my TA- and she said that DCL had not officially verified it. However, I am on the "waitlist" for the transatlantic and the Medi.

She did the samething for our current cruise and it worked out fine. I had a reservation roughly 24 hours before the information was publically released.

Perhaps we should do a "telephone tree" incase we hear information? I am always fearful that I will be at work and not be checking my email or the boards.

Or- you could contact my TA and have her put you on the waitlist as well. She is very nice. I did have a few problems with the reservation for the 11 night cruise- trying to apply the discount that could not be applied- but other than that no problems.

I will say that generally I am very thorough about checking my reservations and that I usually know more about DCL or WDW than any TA I have met- but I do enjoy being able to be waitlisted for trips that don't exist yet and I also enjoy the small discount they give.

If they do- I'll meet you there. My sister is moving to Orlando in January. I told her I would see her more if she lived there, than in Utah. (her husband is moving for work- he works for Ritz-Carleton)

Celeste,

Can you give me your sister's email again? I gave her to Eric for Real Estate info and then I lost her addy...

I'd absolutely love it if you'd come down here to the next CKU. It will be summer '07, so we'd better hope they don't do the repo cruise at the same time!!! That would be a hard choice to make! Maybe we can kidnap the CKU teachers and put them on the repo cruise! There'd be plenty of time for classes... They do a CKU cruise, but it's on Carnival... nuff said!

Very quiet on this board, guess everyone is busy with that last minute Christmas shopping.

We are having a heat wave, it is 22 degrees ABOVE 0! It has been snowing, we have a few inches of new snow.

I have taken the day (actually night) off from work, I have lost my voice, which makes it very difficult to work. Hopefully, I will be able to talk by tomorrow, at least, hopefully for my co-workers, they had to cover for me for our vacation, now they are having to cover for me until I can talk! There is a bad cold going around at work, I am not the only person affected. At least I do not feel bad, I just can't talk.

Lynn

Yep, Lynn - it is quiet here. People are out shopping and working and just not enough hours in the day for many.

It's been 10 weeks now since my surgery and I am beginning to try and am taking little baby steps - before long I will be trotting along just fine.

Went out yesterday and bought a new 2006 Nissan Murano. Such a beautiful vehicle. It has a GPS system in it and keyless ignition. Very interesting to work. Has a camera for back up to see what is behind you. Lots of neat gadgets on it.

I can't drive yet but hopefully by the end of February I will be able to and enjoy it more then.

HOPE ALL ARE HAVING A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY - STAY SAFE

You're welcome, Lynn!!! :sunny: Seriously, I'm the reason for the nice weather....I'm on vacation this week, so, since I don't have to be outside in -0º weather, the sun is out and the wind quit. :confused3 Everyone at work wants to give me a week of their vacation just to stop this crappy cold weather....

Sorry to hear you lost your voice...guessing you really shouldn't be at work without it, its a priority!!! Hope you're 100% real soon!

Alright, Kay! I've got this vision in my head~~~you're all bandaged up like a mummy, and scoot out to the NEW car, just to sit and look and SMELL it......

:rotfl2: Pretty pathetic....please say it isn't that bad......please!!!!
