Celeste, said it was the jarring for a couple of months that would be bad as the repair was much more extensive than the mri showed.

They would know best. Would have been fun-maybe next time.

Did I mention that I know how Robb, Noah, and I are going to do the Med cruise for free? Discover just sent Noah a letter stating that he was preapproved for a credit card for $25,000- we'll let him get the card and then they can't force him to pay it back because he is under 18. :teeth: Why do they send such things to children? :confused3

Did anyone notice that someone has already started a cruise meet thread for the returing Repo cruise????

Bob- have a great time at the World. Enjoy being warm for us!

Looking forward to it. "I gotta go where it's warm!"
Made up a small poster to put on my desk. :)

Think they'll get the idea? :confused3

Celeste and Scott....I have a question for you....do nautically walked miles count more because you have actually travelled further during your 1 miles walk than 1 mile on land???????????? :rotfl2:

When are you doing Alaska, and what cruise line are you using?

Still looking, but leaning towards Princess. We want to do the land/rail package, but have a friend that just went in Jan while we were on the 4 day. she's been getting me VERY confused.

It's as bad as the "work" I had to do for NYC....its all foreign to me. I can't imagine all the work involved in Europe....makes me tired thinking about it.... :goodvibes

We have talked about just staying in WY for the summer of 2007, just to do some of the things we never seem to have or make the time to do. Maybe that driving trip to Alaska in the camper. Maybe building in Florida?
Good idea, Scott. Vacation in you rown backyard. You'll see why so many people love it!!! (You'll never be closer to Alaska than you are right now!!!)

Elaine, I would give ya the extra miles.

Celeste that is hard to believe about the credit card but not a surprise. Heck I am surprised that out dogs have not been offered one.

Safety tip from Scott to all: get a paper shredder for home use.

I still feel REALLY bad about that...Poor thing....:guilty:

And Kelli-have you found another Alvaro who can be our private tour guide on the eastern Med?
My Dad used to do the Med all the time...on a Navy ship!!! :cool1: He once went to Barcelona. And I know he'd love to go again.....anyone got an "extra" cabin?!?!? :goodvibes

Kelli- wanna come walk? (are you in Cheyenne?)
Yup! But Denver would be better for us....can you have your WHOLE family meet us there..... :rotfl2:

Well, I'm not Celeste or Scott, but I'm sure you have the GPS to prove it.....of course, I'm guessing you were walking backwards part of that time..... :thumbsup2

Didn't you figure this out before the 14 day? :confused3
Something about walking from the bow to the stern was a greater distance than the stern to bow. :confused3
Now, I'm confused!

Amazing. Well, not really. When we took our grandson on a cruise, we flew on Delta. The ticket agent suggested that he get a FF number. Oh Oh. Now he receives an app from American Express about every 6 months offering a "Blue Card".

Seems as though every day we go through the same ritual. Sort the mail and shred most of it. Hey, if it weren't for the lenders, I would be a very loney person.

Elaine-
Count your miles any way you want- I've said that all along. Although you can't count the miles the boat took you- unless you swam beside it. :rotfl2:

Hi Linda,
It is good to see you posting again! I don't have any girl scouts selling cookies in my area :confused3 I could go for some cookies.
.....
Celeste, when you were walking through Indiana, you should have stopped by. I got my girl scout cookies. Thin Mints and Savanahs

BTW, are you still planning a pre-cruise mini-meet memorial day?

Funny you mention this because I just wrote Peter & Tracy an email about this....
I think something will be put together- just probably not at my house, unless a large amount of people decide to come. I may potentially have to do something on that Friday and I get into town Thursday night from California.

I think something will be done- I just don't know what or where. If we were to do Chicago we could go to the Disney store, the Rainforest Cafe, and the ghiradelli shop. If we were to do Gurnee area we could do Six Flag and the Gurnee Mills Mall- which has a new Disney store that just opened. If we were to do Milwaukee we could do the zoo, a museum, and hang out by the lakefront, and there is a great cuban place. If we did Madison- we could do what ever Tracy suggests, but there is a great scrapbooking place and the lakes there are beautiful.

ARE PEOPLE INTERESTED OR SHOULD WE DO IT LATER IN THE SUMMER?

Celeste....Mom and I would love to come to the DisMeet....did I hear Madison and a scrapbook store????? Maybe I could finally find that elusive Wisconsin quarter that I never have managed to find yet.....we're game for "whenever"

(finally crossed the Queenston/Lewiston Canada/US border crossing!!!!)

Go Elaine, Go!

I'm dreading to see Bob update his map...and I think Steve will make it coast to coast before I hit Florida. :sad2:

Ooops! I knew there was something I needed to do. I've got stuff jotted down, but I'm a real procrastinator.

I have been tinkering with the google maps engine. Some knowledge of java is required. I think I've forgotten anything that I once knew.

Past my bedtime. Good night.
