Too darn HOT, if you ask me..... Anyone else waiting for Alaska? :confused3

Hi Lynda! I hope everything is going well for you and Cash? I miss both of you! The heat doesn't concern me, it is the hurricanes in September, but hey, I'm up for a mystery cruise if nothing else! :rotfl: I am certainly waiting for Alaska, and will book in a heartbeat for that one in 2007! Not a second thought on that one :goodvibes

Celeste -

I'm in the same boat (pun intended :goodvibes ) and worrying about that as well.

Mine will be 2nd and 4th. I already had a week long planned in Sept. but 11 days? Right when school starts (ok, like 2 weeks into it...) Aren't the teachers (who will be new to me/us) going to be mad?

:confused3
Kendra

Yeah....these are all things I am uncertain of. I also have to consider how this would impact graduate school... :guilty:

I am still going to book it and keep my December 2, 06 cruise. As it gets closer, I will have to see what happens. I really want to go on this cruise, but nearly as badly as I wanted to do the Panama cruise. If there was a repoisitioning cruise from the US to Europe or Alaska- I would be jumping up and down and begin thinking of how I could bargain my way into that.

I guess I'll just have to see how things go at school this year- Noah will be missing a week in October. As he has not been at this school before- I will have to see how this is received.

If I had the time and patience- I would homeschool. But I have neither.......

Looks like a mini reunion cruise in the making!

Do you think the 11 day will be a lot like our Panama trip as far as having a low # of kids on board?
That would be my guess.

Hey, maybe another adults invade the lab night. ;)

The 10 day would be more do-able as far as school absences since it includes 2 weekends.

Looks like the 11 day is much more popular than the 10 day though (at least with Dis-ers)

I know it would be tough to pull our kids for that much time at the begining of the school year. We'd most likely end up before a judge for excessive absences before the year was through. :guilty:
The only thing that saved us when we pulled the kids in May was that it was at the end of the year and school got over before we got home. :teeth:

Hope those of you able to swing these have a GREAT time. Looks like some fun ports to visit!

It's just wonderful that we are keeping this thread going so everyone can read it and know THE WONDERFUL TIME WE HAD ON THE REPO. CRUISE and all the friends that were made.

It will forever be the most famous thread on the DIS Board I would surely think. I really don't have to prove this, because it is a fact.

It has also helped with information for the cruisers that will be bringing her home.

GO REPO CRUISERS - they are the best and shine all over

Hey, I loved the adult invade the lab night! That would be so cool to do again! Sorry you can't join us Sheila. I am leaving Aimee out of this one.....she is NOT happy, but oh well?

Well, Hello stranger!!! Long time no hear... you been ok? How's Cash been holding up in this heat?

Renae

Hi guys,

Does anyone know if the new repo cruise in a week or so has a thread going from onboard? I'd love to lurk over there and see what they think of 'our' itinerary and excursions... I know they got shut down just before our cruise, so I don't know where to look for them.

Renae

just bumping our little thread up today.

many of us are busy posting on the 9/4 and 9/17/06 threads. But this one is still the best

it seemed to have started so much fun and it has to be continued

Well today I got to relive the cruise a bit. Went to a fellow DIS'rs house - Towncrier and showed he and his family all of the pictures and the stuff.

So much fun to relive it. We did not have enough time to look at the videos :rotfl: :rotfl2: Just looked at the pictures and the "stuff" which included alot of the gifts. I started to forget some things... so if I start asking bizarre questions out of the blue, it just means I am trying to remember and label things

He also gave to me a DVD that he made of the Miraflores webcam and the gatun lock web cam. We watched it over and over and told them exactly what was happening. :teeth: And had to tell his wife what the sign said on the aft verandah :cool1:

Oh the memories.

Debbie

Debbie, are copies of the DVD available???? Only met Towncrier once at a DIS meet at OKW a couple of years back.

Lynn is a cropping scrapping fool. It was her project for today. She is up to May of 2004.

Kay,

Thanks for giving me the link to the cruise!

Scott,

Tell Lynn I said 'You go girl"!!!!!

I can make copies available. :flower: If there are any others that would like one made send me a PM. It is easier to make them all in one swoop than one at a time.

Happy to make a list!!

Towncrier is great. He was SOOOO bummed not to have gone on the cruise. So he said this was the next best thing to being there.
