Ohhhhh, I can contribute to this one!

My Mom and I were contestants on the game show Supermarket Sweep! I got to wear a "cool" sweatshirt and run around a fake grocery store trying to spend as much money as possible!

We won and were invited to come back for a Champion Supermarket Sweep. That time we lost, and our consolation prize was a sleeping bag!

I love that show!!!!!! Gotta love the oversized food!

I can contribute too... actually I end up on local stations alot for disasters. It never fails that the TV station shows up before my PR staff does But one time I found out I was on CNN! They picked up a local interview I did at a shelter during a snow storm. I had no idea until friends starting calling me from around the country

Sorry Bill, I just realized that I didn't answer your original question...
No, that was just my watch. My electric stimulator thingy- other wise known as a Relief Band- was sent to Utah so my parents could use it in Alaska on some day trips there were going to go on. I would have liked to have tried my relief band on Mission Space- because that ride makes me feel like someone has stuck a blender in my head.
Numbess...poor Angela. After my c-section I was numb around the incision site for approx. 2 years- hope she isn't numb that long.



Peter- you didn't strike me as a country fan....I don't even know what a courntry radio station is in MA.

Ok it is HOT here!!!!

At 7:30 am it is 80 degrees with a dewpoint of 77!!!! The weatherman says that it is more than tropical and it is like you are in Panama!

I could only wish.......

Claim to Fame -(well only a little)
I have been in the local newspapers twice,once when presenting a cheque on behalf of a charity group to a hospital,and once a large picture of me standing on the platform of our local train station ,looking really fed up,under a headline about the train service being lousy.In this case i didnt know a picture had been taken and the first i knew was when karen bought the newspaper and said theres a picture in there of some guy who looks like you,and I had a look and it was me.

OH and I believe that I was the youngest qualified Chartered Accountant in the Uk,as I was under 21 when I passed my exams,but by the time I received my certificate I was 21.In those days you couldnt qualify under 21,and I dont know of any other accountants who took their exams before being 21.

Not much of a claim to fame really.

Well, tell Mom I hate to disappoint her.. but back then I had a waist to hula hoop around... I believe that is no longer the case.... esp after all that cruise food and no opportunity to exercise it off with a broken butt!!

I assume you heard about the cops shooting the wrong guy,(a brazilian who was innocent,which has caused some problems with the brazilian government)

I am so happy this evening because I just got broadband last week,and I have spent nearly a week trying to get my netgear wireless router to work ,I changed all the settings studied every computer option spoke to computer experts and still it would not work.Then I was told today that all you have to do is make up any word as the password ,reset the settings back to default as they were before I started messing with it and it worked immediately.So a week wasted.But now I have always on 2mb broadband.


Now I just have to figure out how to configure my laptop as part of this network,and not just have my desktop PC.
